  • Sweet wind

  • enough talkin and just hit the damn ball already!

  • hey mark im getting new clubs for this high school golf season i dont want to go over 800 wha tclubs would u recomend if im a 13 handicapper

  • @golfpro1026 i dont know what kind of clubs you want but last year i bought a pair of callaway diablo edge for $650 at callaway preowned ya they are used but they have a 'like new' which really shouldnt affect the play to much but they will get rid of any dents and scratches i am also playing high school golf and i love my clubs

  • hi mark i have only played golf for a year i know i have alot to learn but my main problem is topping the ball especialy with my 3 wood costing me lots of shots can you help

  • How far u hit ur 3 wood??

  • Dear Mark,

I know this might sound strange but I do have no problem hitting my three woods of the fairway. It launches nice and it goes straight and fare landing resonabley sotf. My Problem is that when I tee it up I start pulling it to the left. Do you have any idea why that might be? Becouse this doesn't happen with my driver.

  • Mark,

it seems to me that you cross the line at the top of your golf swing such as fred couples. I do this also in my swing and wanted to know if this is something I should try hard to correct. Thanks and great vids.

  • I have a question Mark,

I play the ball about 4 inches inside of my left foot (I'm a righty) and I consistently top it or hit it low. Is the ball too far back?

Thanks so much and may god bless you! ^_^

  • @XShatt3r3d18X i know you asked Mark but that definatley could be why you top or hit it low... it also could be that you are standing up on the ball. sorry that i answered when you asked mark but to put it more in the front of your stance and if that doest work then try staying down. HOPE THIS HELPS :)

  • I went to the range the other day, in light of this advice, and I only play golf recreationally, like 5-7 rounds a year lol, and I took these tips on board and hit a 215 3 wood off the deck.

  • Mark, really like the videos. Great advice.

One thing, is there any chance you could include some slow motion when you are talking about the swing with specific clubs. For example on this 3 wood you mention the "lean", and while I appreciate the theory, some slo mo might help.

    Thanks and again great videos.

  • Search "amazing near hole in one" its incredible

  • nice vid

  • dont get a new mic, now that you have a new camera, all you need is a new indoor range :D

  • Mark, great video and some very useful tips. I really do appreciate all the work and effort you put into these videos. I am going to have to echo what some others have said though: videos on putters and putting technique would be tremendously appreciated and beneficial to many. Again thank you for all the hard work on the videos, and as long as you keep making them, Ill keep watching them. Cheers from across the pond!

  • That's quite the long back swing you got there.

  • The thing that makes you a better putter is the confidence you have in your club. If you look at the best putters in the world (Tiger etc) they never change putter because they have learned how to work with the one they have. I think i read somewhere that Bobby Jones used a putter with a wooden shaft that was cracked straight down the middle, and if thats good enough for him, dont worry about spending €300 on a scotty and get some lessons. This would be much better for improvement in your game

  • Yes, a video about Putters and technique would be very helpful!

  • Hey Mark, is getting a good putter very imporant to lowering your score?

I see a lot of players on tour using Scotty Camerons which is a great putter, so does it really make a difference?

  • @Talucci34 Good questions, I would like the answer as well. Putting really affects my score really bad! Could get on the green for par but end up making double bogeys.

  • @Talucci34 I think you should go to your nearest shop that stocks the biggest variety of putters.Putter choice is the most personal of all golf equipment because the difference in performance is so small between a scotty cameron and a colt that the only rule of thumb I used when I chose my putter was the feel i got when putting with it in the shop.Generally a smaller putter has more control and make sure to putt with the ball you use on the course not the cheap one the shop will have out for you
