Why don’t ANY of the Russian ballerinas bring BOTH arms to fifth high for each attitude balance, the way Dame Margot Fonteyn taught the world to do it, and the way every western ballerina has done it ever since?

Wow, an amazing performance.....the music is just wonderful and the dancing is superb. Ms. Kochetkova is truly a marvel to behold....just perfect. What a pleasure to watch this stunning performance.

usually the music is played too slowly and totally ruined at the end where they do the promnade, but this version shows the ideal collaboration of dance and music. This ows much to the dancers' techniques. She is incredible and the male dancers are good, too.

is this the maria kochetkova that used to be with english national ballet? i saw their sleeping beauty a few years ago and she was the songbird fairy, and i remember her being tiny like this :)
