wow....lol You are taken this way to seriously.. I did it 3 times.. ever and I was having fun.. you know fun?? I have since learned to work the camera.. if you had seen.. This is a comedy Satire Channel and that what you are watching is very long time ago. so I think handling a camera is probably not as much a problem I only did this becasue no one else has made their penny stove melt a penny and I was trying to duplicate it.. which I did.. Have you?? lol
By the way, what fuel were you using? I'm getting a blue flame out of using methylated spirit. I can hardly make out what you're saying in your video.
mate, you gotta have the rim edge of the Cup higher so that it can conduct heat back down to warm the liquid fuel back inside the stove. A penny stove isn't a penny stove just because of a penny - it's the raised rim that makes the primary difference. Yours is currently called a soda can stove, if I didn't get Mark Jurey's idea wrong....
Try making your preheater base shorter. You should be able to make the preheater about 1/3 of a soda can's total height. You only need about a teaspoon or less of fuel in the preheater. Experiment with using less fuel in the preheater to get it just right.
that penny stove sucks major amounts of dick n balls

Please learn how to work a video camera...I couldn't even get 2min into the video due to the hamfisted handling of the camera.

I don't know for sure, I seen videos and they called it a penny stove.
If you seen the next video I melted the pennies again and it's 99.9% isopropyl Alcohol.
The penny was zinc and was just having a little fun.

Clean the oxidation off the two pennies and then judge the differences in content.
