Is that mic on? It sure doesn't seem like it. In either case, you should be using a pop filter (it not only makes it sound better, but it also prevents moisture from entering the capsule).

Wait... and your guitar has a pickup? I can't hear it directly dude.. seriously. That's definitely coming through the camera mic. You might check what you're running into.. mixer, etc.

actually i think the fact that he changed how the song is sung, it adds a bit of personality to HIS cover of the song, not somebody just playing it how sense field plays it, even though their version is great as well, great cover

I've never heard the original, but this song by this soloist is captivating, rings so clear and with the intensity of a Rob Thomas. I can see this artist finding some original songs and doing a CD or two... I'de buy them! I have played guitar for over thirty years, and I find this young fellow sings awsome and is a good player as well, doing both with feeling and excellent timing.
