  • The Wonder Years is one of my favorite shows.

    I grew up watching them....

Those were really the wonder years...

  • I like that they had actors who were actually the age they were playing

  • I remember watching this the other night been like, you know what winnie is gonna show up probably. As soon as she did, i was walking back and forth saying "called it! Called it son!"

  • This is definitely a nominee for best WY ep. ending. I don't like the other vid like this with Kevin staring through Winnie's window. She was being too much of a bitch that whole episode for me to buy that chicky crap.

  • They just showed this last night and it was Unchained Melody but i kept hearing this song in the BG. I forgot everything but the ending so watching it all made this ending even more powerful. Great ending.

  • @AngelHatchets theyre still showing it on tv?? i just finished watching it on netflix hahaha

  • @rabitt55555 They show it on The Hub Mon-Thurs at 8p CST. they show them in order to which i like

  • Amazing...

  • I have the guitar tablature for this song if anyone would like it. Send me a message.

  • what song is this?

  • @sierraleonne111 The name of the song is "You'll Be My Love" and the singer is Bob Gleaves.

  • What Makes this show so great is how they End every episode.

  • This is a show that will truly teach about life

  • this is not the original song!!!

  • Yeah isn't it Unchained Melody? I agree though, it's a great moment!

  • WOW .i almost cry as soon as he says...someone searching for us....This was a great show

  • This is for the lonely heart... "Somewhere, somehow, there is someone perfect who might be searching for us"

  • aww.....i kinda remind of myself.....

    young love are so sweet.....

  • The song is a total Righteous Brothers rip-off. heh Late 80's gave Romanians a death to Communism and The Wonder Years.... a toss-up as to which has been more influential.

  • Did Kevin and Winnie ever knock boots? I can't remember.

  • @bucknorm wayne pounded winnie

  • @bucknorm Yes, they did.

  • You know something...? That voice on this version of this song is Bono? I remember U2 did a version of this song, but this is not that version. I swear by God that this is Bono singing... anyone?

  • @GonzoDr78 its bono

  • is this the original song from the episode? i was thinking it featured tommy james/the shondells and the righteous brothers. i know this show has had a lot of problems getting a proper release for vhs/dvd. could it have run into the same problems in syndication?

  • @johnrunion This is not the original song :-(. This is the version that aired in Romania in around 2000. Like many people, this is the first version I ever watched.

  • @RazvanME thank you. i greatly appreciate it.

  • @johnrunion I watched this episode last night. I believe it was on Hub (some channel I had never heard of until I saw that The Wonder Years was on that channel at 9pm Eastern Time.) If I remember correctly, the real song that was on at the end last night was "Unchained Melody" by The Righteous Brothers.

  • @jettfurby thanks. i appreciate it. i have read what kept the series from being released on vhs and waht is keeping it from being released on dvd and possibly blu-ray is music rights. thanks again.

  • @johnrunion No the original song was Unchained Melody

  • @hunterroutten123 thank you. i appreciate it.

  • I love this song.....

i miss the good old days.....

  • why cant they play good shows on syndication from the 90's. if i see another episode of two and half men for the 15th time im gonna kill myself

  • i know a internet site for germans, that you can see full episodes.

    but its in german =)

  • lol man this takes me back winnie was a babe! dam :D

  • What a great ending, when i watch this part i always remember that i lost my youth

  • My favorite episode of all time was the one when the Arnolds and the Pfeiffers go to that cabin at some lake. Kevin and Paul go to the drive in theatre that night and Kevin meets that cool girl. I was so in love with that girl. When the reruns came on I recorded that one episode and watched it over and over.

  • @Lock11811

The 2 episodes of the lake are my favorite too...the second time Kevin and Paul go to the lake to find Cara....when Kevin has to get a summer job...I think the episode was called back to the lake...but both of them were my favs!

  • Cugetarile astea de final de episod sunt cele mai tari.

Pentru cine cauta cele 6 serii, le gaseste pe isohunt.com. Eu unul stau la seed.

  • fun site serial The wonder years on the russia.

    Wonder-years(.)ru

    Foto, video, plots

  • that was funny

  • Paul is a fag

  • Without the real song, this clip is garbage. This song makes me want to puke all over.

  • The fake unchained melody song is a fail. Where can i find the original version of wonder years instead of these mashed up syndicated versions? Licensing buttheads!!!

  • It's a great ending I think. These things always went that way when you were a teen, right? Heartache. Heartbreak. It completely captures adolescence

  • Watch out the WMG police don't 'censor' the audio - they have every other copy of this wonderful episode and thousands of other inoffensive vid-clips. Nice to see it, even with Roum sub-titles :)

  • This is not the original music but who cares. There is nothing better than this...I would think....I never went to a prom, a dance, an anything....

  • theres no happy ending? where they find eachother and dance?:(

  • @lolipopgirl88 IT WAS A METAPHOR

  • WOW, this was sooo much better with the original music.

  • this reminds alot of us of our youth when this were so new and innocent as a first kiss or a first love wow to be young that age again how i miss it

  • I had the biggest crush on Winnie Cooper growing up lol

  • Me too Dude!!! =0) Ha, ha, ha!!!

  • Winnie was cute but I actually preferred Madeline (Kevin's short-term love interest)

  • haha that hot french student or w/e? dude she was fuckin hot

  • yeah Madeline was waaaaaay too hot for Kevin and she was jockin him hard.

  • @robk147 i prefer becky slater...

  • No,I did ;D

  • @double91trouble like every kid who had a crush on winnie wanna pipe that...lol

  • @double91trouble hehehe

  • @double91trouble me too.

  • @double91trouble I still do

  • @double91trouble- Who didn't?

  • @double91trouble so did I lol

  • @double91trouble me too she was my first tv crush

  • No they didn't even find each other they had to find each other and dance in the end then kiss.

  • whats the name from the episode in german?

wie heisst die folge auf deutsch?

Wonder Years have a lot of beautiful endings.

    i love the wonder years

  • wie heisst die folge auf deutsch?

whats the name from the episode in german?

  • i am burned up that this was never on dvd because of music rights. you gotta be kidding me!!!! i've been waiting for this for 10 yrs now. bunk!!!

  • We'll be watching reruns of friends, sienfeld, and Raymond for decades to come but this show is nowhere to be found on TV. dammit!

  • @aadeebindy The Wonder Years Itv 3 If Your In The UK

  • i can't believe the show ended with him marrying someone else. it was always winnie, has ALWAYS BEEN winnie. how could they do that to us!

  • The greatest TV show in history, man those were the golden days...!!

  • Yes, this is the best of the best!!!

  • The song reminds me a bit of unchained melody from Ghost

  • i was thinking the same exact thing

  • It was "Unchained Melody" in the original episode, but because of licensing issues, they replaced it with this song in other countries.

  • the best episode eanding is when winney breaks her leg in the car crash and him and winney told each other they loved one in other throu the window

  • What is the name of this song I love it

  • Sounds kinda like "Earth Angel" but a knock off version or something.

  • i loved this ending... it was soooooo sad =( =( =(

  • The girl that played in this episode, the same one who played in "Adventures in Babysitting", turned out to be gay. My 12 year old self is crushed.

  • yes.....is a good ending, but i think to me "the accident" is the best ending....I say again "To me".....thanks for sharing this ending.

  • This ending is a perfect example of their relationship and the fact that they are star crossed lovers. They loved each other but just werent meant to be. Winnie was always gonna be the type of girl to get out there and live differently and kevin was just not

  • I always wanted to bang winnie

  • hay i just thought of something paul is the kind of kid that turns in to marlyan manson have u seen his high school pic its the same skinny dork with the bottle coke glasses

  • i miss you so much!

  • Ha ! Finally found this again..

I had seen this a while ago..

and was also looking for the Bob Gleaves song..thanks for posting..

Don't know if Chubby Toes will see this but always made me think of you... !!

    love you !

  • why did the never find eachother???????

  • what song is that can any 1 tell me

  • dude that´s the worst song ever

  • THANKS for uploading !

  • this ending is great. also the christmas party episode, and the one about Harpers woods, and the one where kevin takes piano lessons. i believe the show won an emmy for best comedy in 88 or 89

  • what a cool song....what is that?

  • who is the girl that plays linda? isnt Staci Keanan?

  • She's Maia Brewton. She also played Shelly, the sister of Parker Lewis in Parker Lewis: Can't Lose.

  • she was also in back to the future and adventures in babysitting. she was busy back then..lol

  • i use to FAP for winnie

  • rofl

  • oh. you said so in the comments. thanks.

  • wasn't the song in this part "unchained melody"? i'm pretty sure. worked much better, specially on the first shot of winnie.

  • yes, i saw this ep. in spanish and the song is unchained melody, the producers keep the original soundtrack, maybe was changed before.

  • I thought winnie was soo cute when I saw this in late primary schoool. Kind of related to what I was going through at the time.

  • I hate the fact that Kevin didn't end up with Winnie at the end of the show. What was the point of all the things they went through? Why did he end up marrying somebody else? Great show, horrid ending

  • Real life tends to be like than. :-) Growing up next to somebody builds a lot of strong ties but many times the roads eventually split. The world is a huge and amazing place and it deserves a chance to be explored. The memories you have with old friends don't go away. Time increase their value. And meeting them again and sharing what you have done is an amazing "time travel" experience. :-)

  • sry but this is one of those bullshits that people always pretend to believe... dude if roads split up u can´t just give up! try to make a new one between both, one direction, straight...

u are right, memories with old friends don´t go away, they are always in your mind but they are killing you! u never meet them again and if u see them u say: "hey buddy, long time no see... do u remember... we had a great time back then..." and then u realize they are no more your friends! just strangers!

  • In our world everybody is a click away. Keeping in (close) touch is not an issues. I find the memories pleasurable and not at at all a burden. :-) I haven't live that much yet but I did had a chance to meet people after many years of being apart. It was awesome! :D The best part was talking about the things that happened when we ware not together. That's why I said it's a little bit like "time traveling". You get to see what happen in other people's life (people you know) in a fast-forward way.

  • u maybe are right but my experiences are really really different and sad. my good memories are kinda burden to me! u realize every day that the good old times are never coming back... its sad!

yeah it IS like time traveling...

  • @4hNiu poop

  • @RazvanME when the finale was filmed the actors did not even know it was the Series finale. they all thought it was the Season finale. then, the show was abruptly canceled and daniel stern called in to do the final narration. the show does end with kevin Going to the 12th grade when it should have ended after his h.s. graduation.

  • I agree. Why not give us what we really wanted? We all know that life is hard. But this was a TV show. It was fantasy. Why not give us the happy ending?

  • Exactly! And don't cop out by "talking" about it offscreen, show us what happened, don't narrate it.

I mean, if we didn't hear Winnie's name like 1 million times during the whole series, I wouldn't have been expecting him to be with her!

"Oh yeah I wrote to her for years while she was traveled, and when she came back, she met my wife and kid."

    WTF?!?!?!

  • Lay off the Wonder Years Krypto.....

It's the essence of the bitter-sweet experiece that IS life!

Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.

    Live a little.....you'll get it!

  • And life is not full of happy endings...not like tv today...everything is all happy and finished. With no passion (Americas next top model).

  • Sorry, but life is too bittersweet, so I'd rather see my favorite characters get together in the end. Like Ross and Rachel on Friends! I love The Wonder Years, I just hated the finale!

  • Winnie is that girl he always loved and eventually didn't end up with. Everyone has one of those.

  • Yeah, but I think Kevin should have waited for her, rather than get married and have a kid while she was gone.

  • @IMBumbaugh Keep in mind that in life we don't always get what we want, when we want it. I'm sure that at one point in your life, there was a Party that you may not have been invited to, or a Dance where nobody wanted to dance with you, or you got your heart broken, etc. Did you ever watch The Old School Degrassi, where Caitlin thought Joey was going to ask her to the Dance and he gave her the brush off to be with Liz. That was heartbreaking.

  • @IMBumbaugh I don't blame you for feeling that way, but art isn't always meant to be happy. Just like the blues doesn't exactly exist to make you feel good, sometimes it just makes you feel sadder. It's healthy.

  • @IMBumbaugh

This show was about what life is truly about. It's not always what we expect it to be when we're 13-18 yrs old. Life changes and we change. We never know what to expect. That's why this ending was perfect for what it was.

  • @IMBumbaugh theres no such thing as a happy ending

  • @kryptonitebullet179 i agree. the show seemed so bent on providing realism that they forgot that some times even in real life that good things do transpire.

  • i always saw my brother watching this when i was little, but when ur that younge its hard 2 understand whats going on, can anyone plez tell me about this series and where i could watch full epidodes?

  • Just do a "wonder years dvd" on Google and click on the "Sponsored Links". You'll find a few places that offer all the 6 seasons on DVD. I don't know how legit they are and I haven't tried them so I don't know their quality.

  • this ending is cool but not my favourtie ending, my fav is the when he meets that girl at the drive in movies while on holiday. But any episode is enough to fill me with the wonder of nostalgia.

  • Esta série é realmente incrível. Nos faz voltar no tempo.

  • what0s is the name of this chapter?

  • The name of the episode is "Don't You Know Anything About Women?".

  • Read the description, pal.

  • I don't think this was the song playing during this seen. May be some Romanian switch up.

  • For some reason I don't recall this as the song that originally played in this scene.

  • Well shoot me if I am wrong, but I believe this may or not have came from the Best of Episodes DVDs "best of the wonders" or "christmas wonder years" because an offical box set has not been released yet due to the cost of securing the music rights, or something like that. Anyways I miss this show -_-

  • yeah it was unchained melody

  • yeah i know i thought i've never seen this episode

  • In the end your happiest memories are your saddest because in bringing them to mind you just want those times back - but you can't have them. Mind you, I wouldn't be without those pearls hovering around the grey matter: they are what define us.

  • is this the one where kevin gets his first woody?

  • what's the name of the song pls help! thanks

  • Read the description, silly billy.

  • its funny when he narrarates it

they have made fun of that in so many shows like the simpsons one where there in the cafe and bart is narrarating and then homer yells bart

  • cat de tare!!!

ce vara a mai fost, cand vedeam show-ul pe protv, si aveam vreo 12 ani!

    ce amintiri!

  • suhweet

    but it was unchained melody..

much better fit with that songggg

  • i LOVEEEED this show when i was a kid... :))) stil luv it actualy... btw.. Romanian looks cool!

  • este genial serialul... Il caut de mult. Daca are cineva seriile, sau macar episoade... il rog sa ma contacteze.

    Mersi.

  • L-am gasit pe torrent. Am toate cele 6 serii (115 eps.), adica vreo 15-16 Gb. Vrea cineva? :)

  • She is hot or rather the actress that plays her is hot. She was in an episode from the first series of How I Met Your Mother (2005)entitled "The Pineapple Incident".

  • i used to think winny cooper was so hott..wtf was i smoking lol

  • ha, same here :/

  • lol

  • lol she's gotten cuter as she's grown up. She did a pictorial for Stuff Magazine in 2005.

  • She did? It seemed like as she got older, the larger her head became

  • She has a couple books out called Math Doesn't Suck, Kiss My Math: Showing Pre-Algebra Who's Boss. Apparently she is a math genious.

  • LMFAOOOOO good one.

  • I used to also. now I think see looks like a cross between Harry and the Hendersons and a springer spaniel.

  • This was one of the best episodes.

  • it isn't spanish, but romanian.

  • Probably lost on this generation but do you remember the anticipation of the 7th grade dance? You wished that one dance that you finally got the courage up to ask with 20 minutes left would last all night. For one 4 minute song, all was right with the world. This show captured that.

  • hayyy.. q triste :'( mi vido00!

  • I absolutely agree: this is the best ending of all TV shows EVER!!!

  • it isn't the original audio... how sad :( this verison of unchained melody really sucks

  • The clip was recorded from ProTV and it has Romanian subtitles. I also posted the original English version. :-)

  • wow dude, spanish is very different from that....lol

  • stfu biatch

  • could this show be any more perfect?

  • it would be if they released it on dvd

  • it is on dvd

  • This was a good ending. Close, yet so far.

  • i know huh?

I WOULD HAVE HAD WINNIE.. noooo doubt.

  • well it was a thing called segregation that was in full swing when this show took place

  • Umm... actually that's not true, depending on how you define segregation. If you mean Jim Crow, that ended in 64. This show didn't start till 68. If you mean that the "bleaching" of the suburbs produced by so called white flight from the cities after the war, then you may be on to something.

  • another one of the best episodes/endings is the one about kevin's piano lessons and the ending where he is outside the house where the recital was being done and the background music was canon. unforgettable!

  • I loved watching this on channel 5 when I got back from school

  • This is my favourite episode. The one featuring Mia Brewton as Linda Sloane!! I've watched the whole of the first season (and the last ever episode) today on DVD. Only about another 110 more episodes to watch! Yippee!!

  • I have this episode and in the episode i have the background song is Unchained Melody by the Riteous brothers. This is a great episode

  • sorry but that is not unchained melody, check out the kissing scene in the movie GHOST by Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze, they played unchained melody.

  • I know this isn't unchained melody but i have this episode and on the version i have unchained melody is the background song. By the way I love the movie GHOST

  • yeah GHOST is classic

  • yes, i thought i remember the background song having been 'unchained melody'. thanks for confirming that.
