  • Rrraaaiiinnnbow

  • i saw an epic rainbow

  • DOUBLE COMPLETE RAINBOW

  • Nice EPFD Snorkel Squad 3 and Batt.4 ill tell ya EPFDs a great Dept prob where im gonna work in the future i think EPs primary on all Box assignments in B.I. idk cuz it seems whenever BIFD has a fire EPs always there but any ways you should try filming alot in Mabas 21 even though it is pretty quiet but EpFDs very busy 4-5 EMS calls and maybe an MVA or two on a daily basis but Mabas 22 gets a lot of fires as well but u missed out on the Central Stickney 2-11 3 weeks ago burned down a bar

  • @JKSK8ERLIVE

    Thanks EPFD does great job

I was at the bar fire...it didnt burn down back porches were going

pics on northern il fire ground on facebook

  • Why not go up stairs and do an offensive attack and save the house??? Wow I just watched a house burn!! Maybe you guys should pick your lines up and go take a nap and wait for the next house to burn down!!! Do your job and go put out the fire!!!

  • Guys hows that work with a department beinsomewhere to train rookies? Do they get hired at different dept's then do time at this one? Like the probbie time?

  • Fuckin wooden houses are the problem!

  • howd this happen

  • @Skankpronger

not sure of the exact cause

    Thanks for watching!

  • at 6;29 EPFD squad 3

  • 0:45 listen carefully and you can hear the smoke detector.

  • o yeah... but thats the backup alarm on the firetrucks

  • no thats the smoke dettector 2 beeps pause 2 beeps pause etc for the too long for a back up alarm

  • hey i know that street

  • dude i live in blue island

  • if you go in there for no reason you'll just be one of the 100 fire fighters that die every year and not for the cause to give your life for another

  • How are they gonna get in there the roof caved in?

to many fire fighters die trying to save old homes that are already gone, only go in if theres somone in there which the radio said house was clear

  • is that a rainbow? I thought rainbows were happy things?

  • Granted every dept. is different but, we wan't one or the other. If you have an exterior attack then your pushing the fire in. If you have an interior attack then your pushing the fire out. Therefore a coordinated exterior/ interior attack would be dangerous for the personell inside the building.

  • No where near fully involved.

  • i was thinkiing the same thing

  • well i would o had the ladder truck in a position to attack the fire from a higher point then what it was at. but its also good to hear the smoke alarms worked

  • Even though this was a long video it really was limited on the overall fire attack.

That being said, it looks like they made a good stop and kept it out of he next building.

Do you know about this fire or did you just take the video?

What was the manpower, extent of fire on arrival, was anyone hurt?

  • blue island runs very short on there manpower at best you get a 2man engine a 2man truck and a 3 man engine from cal park on the still

  • @probemedic well Evergreen Park doestnt have that problem they run 4-5 man engines, 3-4 man trucks 2 man aabos the Buggy the Car 2659 and etc for structures they ususally run a 4 man Engine 4 man truck the mabo SS3 2 man and they send a lot of units and manpower to what can be just a meat on the stove

  • @JKSK8ERLIVE What does the way EP run have to do with a fire in Blue Island and how it got out of control... EP is also entirely a part time dept that has a much better budget (partly because of money they save by having part timers and also partly because of the demographics of the community) I mean I'm all about criticism and asking questions... but I'm lost what this has to do with the video... Dumb

  • @JKSK8ERLIVE Yeah, thats the problem with EP. They are putting alot of man power on some and im saying some things that dont need 10 guys. I vote Posen Fire Department over any fire department around.

  • why posen

  • @JKSK8ERLIVE @JKSK8ERLIVE Well see most fire departments get new guys once in a while. Posen gets new (rookies) every month. Posen is a fire department mainly for training purposes. They get new guys in; they train them, then they leave. My point is when you have rookies there more eager for situations. I personally have a Aunt that is high ranking at Posen fire. See when the bell rings the rookies are already in the Engine ready.

  • @joeyp5210 @JKSK8ERLIVE See things get done faster when you have rookies. I mean the rookies will just wait for that bell and no joke as soon as it rings there on there way in 30-50 senconds. Why? becuase All there gear is on the engines/Amb etc so most fire departments put on there gear before they get on the engine but posen does it while there enroute which makes the responce time that musch better.

  • yeah some EMS BLS calls they only have 3 man engine and 2 man ambo because its unnesscary to have that ona BLS call but in some cases like a cardiac call on for example ENG50 will have LT/EMTbff./PMs and a FF/EMTB and the ambo will have 2 ff pms

  • @JKSK8ERLIVE Yeah i agree with you. In some cases they should use more man-power. But if there is a smoke alarm off they shouldnt send 10 guys. Im sure you agree with me. I dont know, thats just my point of view on that subject.

  • Nice rainbow on the water. :)

    Good Video!
