I am an american and have always liked Halloween. Is it a big holiday in the UK??? I know the roots of the holiday come from the UK but I would like to know how big it is over there. In the usa far as gross sales from Halloween related items...costumes, candy, food, decorationas i think it is second to Christmas.....and our Independence day; the 4th of july comes in 3rd or fourth place
@inkey2 Tbh it's not very big. They sell sweets and costumes in the shops etc.. and we get Halloween specials like this one.. and people Trick or Treating but nothing compared to America. The commercial side of Halloween is an American influence on Britain.
The geniuses of todays comedy. They started it all with the League, a dark hilarious show littered with different characters, then Psychoville, a clever piece of scary comedy and an amazing story.
I watched this yesterday it was funny when those kids comes the ones who don't speak and the clown said piss off! It made me laugh so much! I want it on again next year again aswell!
I'm dressing up as Mrs.Jelly today (Halloween)... and I dont have red lippy, but surely Mrs.Jelly would wear pink lippy anyway. ;) hehe.
I love love love love love anything Steve & Reece write together, but I do love it even more when Mark & Jeremey are involved too... The League of Gentlemen, my first love<3 haha. :)
My god, I just LOVE this programme. It is genuinely on of the greatest programmes to have graced out screen in a good couple of years. Pemberton & Shearsmith are two comedy legends in my eyes. Long live the league!
Just ordered the Halloween Spec with the new commentary ! :D
