If you were going 50 in a 35, and all he did was give you a quick toot, I think you got off eeeeeasy. Thats 15mph over which means if he had pulled you over, you wouldn't have even been able to take a defensive driving class to get it off your record. =(
Cops rarely EVER obey the law, even though they really aren't supposed to be above the law themselves, but they sure as heck will enforce it!

I think he was cool as long as I was rolling same speed as him... but as soon as I passed him up, thats when he was like "ok... easy hot shot"

right!! yea he was cool as long as i stayed beside him, but as soon as i started to go faster and pass him, he just gave me a quick buzz lol
