Hey I use to be a crack addicted for 14 years. JESUS is the answer.I have been set free now for about 10 years. We need to repent and just get caught up in HIS Word and HIS Love. The devil wants nothing more then to mess with your mind. Get into the Word and let your thoughts be on the Word of God. No it isn't enough. You have to stop doing drugs, period. You will ruin your family if you don't. You may have many chances to squeeze into heaven, but you only have a FEW to not destroy the lives of people you love. And when your selfish habit destroys one of their lives, perhaps they don't ever make it back to God. Perhaps they burn in hell for all eternity because you needed to get high again.

wow this is the first time i've heard this song. i think this song has a lot to do with those times in our lives when God wants us to seek Him with all that's in us. Everything that we have, we lay it on the line. His silence in our lives is not for punishment, but to get us to seek with everything in us His presence, His love. There were plenty of examples of Jesus seemingly being silent to people crying out to Him, but it was to get them to push harder to Him. He ALWAYS hears.

It is about loss and suffering and the unjust occurrences in the world with biblical references noting it has occurred back to the times of the bible but to hold on to your faith as in the book of Job. Hope that helped.
