and also the only doctor so far to show not just a evil side but actually play the part of the doctors anger and mysterious past coming back to haunt him... he just made everything fit perfectly, and he kept a straight face while threatening monsters so... I'm impressed :)

Eccleston's doctor was truly the master of the Doctors past coming back to haunt him, and the Doctors anger (Going completely crazy in 'Dalek', for example)

I liked David Tennants, but his series run was bogged down by Rose, and his boring post-Rose depression.

Everything one could want in an epic theme song. You want to hear it playing every time you run for your life. Its beautiful, epic, conveys both the elation and pain of the main character, its heroic, uplifting, slightly mischivious, lost, hopeful, hopeless, and comes back loud and epic at the end to remind us that we all lived through it.

I love how different Doctor's themes capture different aspects of his character... the Eccleston/Tennant Doctor theme really caught the Doctor as the ancient wanderer, and now I feel like Smith's catches him as almost a force of nature...
