The verses sound a bit like a Pagliaro melody line, though. Maybe, the verses in the song was inspired by Pag. I could be wrong.

Walter is So Multi Talented His History goes Way back Playing Front man With Great Wilson Pickett on All his Albums..Among 5 or more of his own Albums he is on over 200-Albums now  besides Producing countless others...He told me once He played in front of 500.000 people in a Festival in California...Monterrey Pop fest (1969) I believe.... i think that was a biggest thrill he had, up until he met me....LOL just Kidding...Walt Rocks

Wow is wath I said the fisrt time I herd this on the radio. It's one of those songs that are master pieces but they never see the light of day because no one my age(16) knows walter rossi. Every once in a while I discover some good songs like this, man I wish I could be my age in 69.
