yeah 3800 engined gm vehicles are geared long and have a low final drive ratio. due too them being engineered for high torque and low rpm, resulting in a deep throaty exhaust note.

the opposite would be a high strung Honda buzzing into 90 in 4th gear

i own one too and people are always like " why didnt u get a civic or lancer or something better" and im all like "wtf are u talking about this is better!" and like i would have agreed with them before i owned an impala just to fit in lol, and cause i never thought they were good at all. but after owning one i preach the way of the impala. it has such a mint motor i mean they put the 3800 in like every car gm manufactured at the time, maybe they did it for a reason? cause its the best motor for$

@Nickgarage I LOVE MY car, it now has a performance chip, Nice custom modded "Cool" air intake, K&N air filter, flowmaster exhaust, new headlights n some other stuff, but its sooooo nice after adding the chip, cause now with the extra air i'm pushing through it, i can adjust the air/fuel ratio, its so quick now!
