Nope, but the game has 4 player offline multiplayer (well in the Trilogy version it does).

i dont have the game. i will however be getting the Metroid Prime Trilogy game which gets released in North America in August and September in Europe.
it will feature all 3 Prime games in one, so its worth picking up.
As for this clip, i mearly found it on a games website and just downloaded the clip and uploaded here.

to switch beams, you press the + button.
missles is the d-pad.

I've played it to completion, this game does have the Advanced option.

Are you sure you cant look around while locked on? In MP3 you had that option.
