It's funny ... a month ago I opened the door to see an ancient German Shepherd sitting on my lawn. I'd never seen him before. He came right in the house and started sniffing around. I tried to pet him, but he walked on past. His attitude said, "Move aside. I have work to do."

He sniffed all around the downstairs, then left as quickly as he arrived.
