  • Just think.....for the price of that Rory Gallagher strat,

you could have FOUR new Twins!

  • man that sounds good. gotta save up. thats like the perfect tone in my opinion

  • If your boss is not allowing you to turn up the amp...You should quit your job!

This demo is a waste of time and is not doung any justice to the amp.

OK you can play some licks - but who cares? If we can´t heat what the amp sound like on a decent volume - what´s the point these countless bedroom-practice.demos??

    Play in the kindergarden!

  • @sunshinesigi Dude, why all the hating on Fender Twin Reverb videos? Ive seen you hatin' on evey video.

  • if only i had the money

  • you remind me of me!!! except the dark hair on yu head... those fenders need as much care as a harley. but worth it.

  • Super tone, super playing.

  • How pickups fender in the guitar you used in the video? thanks!

  • Oh, fuck me! What an awesome fucking tone! That is just sooo gooood!

  • i wanna have that shelf in my room, and not for the shelves !

  • can somebody tell me what pickups this guitar has? i guess texas specials? ( sorry for my crappy english )

  • gallaghers guitar!

  • Guitar and Amp are awesome.

Will have this Year a American Fender Strat (Std.? dont know ) and a Fender Amp.

But dont know wich. A Fender '59 Bassman LTD Combo or '65 Twin Reverb Combo.

Both are here nearly the same price (€ 1295-98).

I think i need some more test hours ;o)

  • Whichever you pick, make sure it's crackle free. Because Fender sends some rotten apples among their goods (read my comment below).

  • it really depends what you like playing.

'59 Bassman- nice clean tube driven sound. Reverb, nice low overdrive, but when you crank it up this thing can get a nice warm tube driven overdrive.

'65 Twin reverb- nice vibrato, nice reverb, nice overdrive when you crank it up

  • This is a great riff. Anyone have tabs for some similar sounding riffs that I could improvise with?

  • Is the Twin Reverb RI much louder than the Deluxe Reverb RI like lots of people say on forums etc.? Because today I've tested both side by side, both at volume 3 and they seemed about just as loud. Was there something wrong with one of these amps? If so I'll have to rethink about my choice.. Please respond!

  • So I've bought a Twin Reverb on the net. Recieved it the day before yesterday and now I'm already returning it. It's got crackle and hum all over the place due to bad connections. I don't expect that kind of #$@% with a brand new amp. Way to go Fender, you've just lost yourself a customer, wtf...

  • @DroejsTube Wow, sorry that happened to you bud. Fender makes very inconsistent quality products, always best to play and inspect before you buy... My 62 AVRI strat has imperfect frets, neck joint, and 3 piece body with bad seams... sounds nice but my USA standard strat was miles better save for the pickups.. I regret I sold it.

  • @DroejsTube Hey man, you're one of the VERY few that got a sucky amp! Why do you think so many of us love our "Twin Verbs"? Back in the 70s I bought one, and it sucked, so I took it back and got another. Oh my! It was sweet. Had to sell it but I bought a used 2009 last week and my fingers are sore from playing so much. I own several amps, but this is my favorite. So, try it again and play before you pay, don't buy online. It's like buying an acoustic guitar, you have to hear each one. Trust me.

  • the saddles make all the difference in the world

  • We named the dog Indiana.

  • Sean Connery??

  • Yeah I know its not SRV, its the style/sound. People forget their are other great guitarists from Texas who have killer sound, Freddie King, T-Bone Walker, Johnny Winter, Doyle Bramhall, Jimmie Vaughn, Billy Gibbons..........many more

  • I love listening to SRV, but I cant stand when other dudes cover it, no matter who they are.

  • but that was not srv.

  • Have you ever listen to Tommy Katona ? :D

  • @terzolilu hes hungarian, like me

  • That sounds waaaaay more SRV then Rory

  • Sounds awsome, i want that amp.

  • If you get a chance to play a 'Rory' , PLAY IT.

Then think for a long time about how you can possibly purchase one(sell a kid, six guitars...) . It sucks....UNTIL YOU BUY ONE.

I own one and think it is the greatest strat I have ever played...still...the relics are close but.....obviously...not close enough.

  • They shouldn't give Charles Manson a bunch of guitars and amps to have fun with.

  • lol

  • @gwugluud1

    Hahahaha

  • @gwugluud1 Yeah! XD And i didnt know he could play nicely like that!

  • @gwugluud1 What a shitty thing to say.

  • @gwugluud1 thats the first time ive genuinely laughed out loud at a comment, cheers

  • Does Anyone Know How Much A Ts-9 Is?

  • about a hundred bucks give or take a bit. believe me it is worth every penny, they are my favourite OD of all time

  • in what currency?

  • About 100-150$.

  • Fender is best clean tone. I'm going to get one of these to use with my Mesa Triple Rectifier!!! :)

  • can anyone tell me the amp settings in this video? the numbers are too small to see lol, but the sound is so perfect!

  • put it in hq and make it full screen

  • he's using a ts-9 too

  • amazing Strat, great sound !

  • didnt they make petal steels.all my fender reverbs had petals .anyhouw its akiller tone the amp gets ant to think I sold my last blackface twin for $250. I couda baught a strat back then for @150-200 a strat i personaly pefer teles

  • you sold a blackface twin for $250?

    omg...

  • OMG that tone does not exist!

  • i love how fender approves of over brand like ibanez and gretsch but they never mention gibson as if to say youre not in the same league

  • First, Fender owns Gretsch. They can mention them all they want. Second, Gibson is their main competitor and have been for the last 60 years. Why would they go out of their way to advertise for free? Fender isn't losing any business by advertising Ibanez's pedals because Fender doesn't make pedals. Of course Ibanez makes guitars too, but they're not a threat to Fender.

  • I believe Fender does make pedals, good chap.

  • Fender do make pedals just not on a large scale

  • i don't think they make pedals at all. they licensed boss to make the bassman pedals. i think the closest thing to a pedal that fender would have is their reverb unit.

  • they have a fuzz pedal, a volume, a phaser and a fuzz-wah that i know of

  • i just saw that they started making the fender blender again. i didn't realize they were still making pedals..... awesome

  • The first part of you name describes you perfectly cunt

  • where do we go to see your demos cunt???

Not that I'm interested in anything you have to say or do!!Would love to smack you in the face tho!!!

  • @cuntreek Uh, no Dickweed, we all thank God for that.

Are you giggling your tiny pink ass off at everyone responding to your horseshit? You make me laugh that I'm glad I'm not you.

Apparently you're afraid to show your face as you dance in your drawers while wearing a mask 'cause you got zits and bad teeth and KNOW if any of us saw you we'd kick your tiny ass.

I'm thinking that's a turd in your crotch, not a pecker. Show THIS to your 'lil homies and see if they laugh.

  • @Niteflymojo

Sorry folks, just responding to cuntreek's lame assed post from last year. Hopefully he's dead now or in prison or at least has a job.

This vid is great and Chucky Manson does have a good groove in it!

    Long live the "Twin Verb"!

  • RORY GALLAGHER STRAT! RIP

  • this is pretty much the setup i want, the gallagher strat with a tortoise shell pickguard and a lefty vintage trem (like on the american vintage strats), a fender vibro-king, with the cab, 2 ts9's, 2 vox wahs, a bbe sonic stomper, dunlop analogue univibe...ok maybe not the same setup...

  • ummm i don't know how to tell you this, but the tube screamer never was a metal pedal, it was used by guys like srv, mayer use to use them

  • really??

wow, a bit of a shock, i mean, it's ibanez and every metal or rock guitarrist used it...

    anyway, thank you

  • lol yeh u gotta start thinking other kind of musicians use ibanez like george benson and john scofield who are jazz legends

  • yea dude. have you heard a tube screamer alone before?

  • not really.

i've only used it with a soldano or a jcm.

well, in fact the least heavy amp i used was a plexi, but with de tube screamer to the top.

yesterday i tried it with a fender amp, and the screamer quite low and it delivered great jazzy tones.

    thank you all!!

  • hmm i have always tought of the TS-9 as THE Blues pedal

  • @philphie ive seen metalguys use it alot

  • @philphie It's a just a booster really.

  • Hot!
