I had four Gouldians for ten years - I can hear the 'singing' clearly. It's my favorite finch song because it's subtle and a lower pitch than most birds.

They are singing. The gouldian song is very soft & subtle. I have a hard time hearing my goulds over my canaries & cockatiels.
