  • Also, is MTH Premier engines all you buy, or do you buy other brands too?

  • thats so F*$%@& awsome

  • Oh yes, the PRR had quite a few Q2's

  • @toytrains1 lionel needs to make these in legacy even though i will have dcs

  • És una locomotora magnífica.

  • I'm a total newbie to model railroading. I'm really looking for this model in HO scale. Does it exist?

  • Apparently, from what I've just heard, BLI may be producing this in HO scale.

  • @jayres1973 Broadway Limited Imports is about to release them....for $500 dollars..and its brass with sound

  • It seems this locomotive has not been produced extensively in O-scale. This MTH model is the only 3-rail O-scale version I have seen. Lionel has not produced a model of it and Sunset/3rd-Rail produced a model of the even rarer 4-6-4-4 with the rearwards-facing rear cylinders. I've seen one HO model in brass. I did not realize its relative rarity until I happened to win the MTH model on eBay--I was lucky the bidding did not go very high.

  • Great to see other Q2 engines out and about. We got ours out of sheer dumb luck! Last one available at the time!

  • Hi ToyTrains,

What amazing models. Great shots too.

Have look at our stuff. Very British but you'll like it, I know.

    Cheers

    John

  • awesome,

Is it a PS 2 Loco?

I may have to find one.

  • You may be out of luck. MTH has yet to re-release the Q2 but what your seeing, and hearing, is a PS2 Q2. The Q2 was released in either 2000-2001. Chances are that they will release the Q2 in Railking before releasing it again in Premier.

  • Ah, the most powerful in pulling force and horsepower for a Non-Articulated is in O gauge!

  • yeah definitely my second favorite to the q1.

  • @Beaver456 I thought the N&W y6b had the most powerful in pulling force.

  • 'Cause they're both Pennsy.

  • this one almost looks like the texas one

  • This is like the BIG BOY

  • PRR had all the cool engines!
