  • From Royal Road right:D?

  • i actually saw the second card when you showed the king of spades

  • Really nice! very smooth!!

    5*

    .:PeteR:.

  • nice lifts

  • you have a real solid double-lift, i just recommend when you flip the packet to add a little more pressure so that you are actually bending the card a little bit.

  • it was a double back

  • it wasn't

  • beautiful double lifts :)

  • great performance 5/5*... but i dont think this can be done with a borrowed deck

  • there is no duplicates so it can be done with a borrowed deck.. im pretty sure

  • yeah pretty sure this can be done completely impromptu

  • she doesnt have duplicates cuz she has a "special" card in there

  • on 0: 29 when you pick up the card why is it face down it shud be face up

  • obvious, but nice for non magicians

  • agreed

  • Pretty good, the timing is a bit off though.

You're right to give the magic moment its due but I think you waited a tad too long.

You can risk just going over the mark and getting to the point where the spectator forgets which was where anyway.

  • Nice job man, you remember me? Derek (DudeMagic1993) I havent talked to you in like a year, you're really good now! I'm just getting back into magic... keep up the good work!

  • As a layman, I liked it. Keep practicing, keep posting, keep improving. :)

  • I know how this trick is done... But u need a performance like this guy to make the illusion perfect like seen here. The smooth doublelifts are not the problem. The card pick-up with the deck is the tricky part. Does it also work like this on a table?

  • glad your back great performance 5/5

    -XCMagic

  • I see you are still alive and kicking... ;) Magical Kisses ;)

    Teppe

  • Haha thanks teppe, been a long time since I've talked to you as well. :)

  • No duplicates....sick.

Im going to study this more and see if i can come up with any kind of conclusion to how tha heck you did that.....

  • simple but still great for non-magicians

  • Great effect once again. It's pretty simple, i think i've figured it out after watching it 4 times. nice performance though! Post more videos.

  • very nice =d. tell me how to do :O

hehe ^^ im practicing some tricks myself but its hard. im practicing the shuffles first as i need them in alot of tricks ( i think )

  • this is an old effect and you did it great. you have greatly approved on your DLs. Great job X

  • not your best video. I've been doing this trick ever since I started magic.

    nonetheless, still a great effect.

  • Was there something wrong with the performance? The effect is simple, yes, but to a layman its killer. And even far out advanced magicians use this effect today because of its incredible reactions.

I am curious though, why did you rate the video with 1 star?

Don't tell me its because the effect was "simple"? That is a very poor reason.

  • oh sorry about the 1 star thing, my computer sucks and is slow, I meant to give you 3 stars.

Your performance was great and is a great fooler for laymen. I also hate when people hate on you just because the effect is simple.

It's just your other videos have always impressed me, sometimes I saw it, sometimes it fooled me. It just seems like after everything, this video was a dispointment to everything else. but still, good effect for laymen.

  • this is the explanation:

first, take ona card, then leave over the table, then, mix the deck, take anohter card from the top of the deck, and the trcl is here.... do a magic spint to the second card an voila... that's the visual swap :D

i'll do it already with my method

  • Hey XCM, i know this is an odd question, but how big are your hands? It's not an insult, its just, my hands seem to not be big enough to spin the cards. Any comments?

  • My hands are actually quite small, mostly because I'm a girl and thus my hands are naturally tiny. But trust me, hand size is not a barrier when it comes to learning any sleight, its determination and practice. If you keep at it, you'll get it. Simple as that.

  • Good performance girl, you are right no dupes ... but it aint a trick you can perform with a borrowed at least for the method you are using. I just dont like when people say "Oh no gimmicks, can be performed with a borrowed deck" ... keep it up tho.

  • I'm glad you liked the trick. When I said can be performed with a borrowed deck, I meant it. The same effect, and I mean same, actually can be done virtually impromptu. I have a method for that as well. The overall effect is the same, thus I said this can be done with the borrowed deck.

  • Then I guess I misread the description, I thought you meant this method (the one you show in the video) is completely, let's say, fair.

  • You could easily accomplish a handling identical to this one with a simple impromptu DBer.

This isn't my favorite handling of this type of effect, the BEST impromptu handling of this has to go to Joel Givens. He's got an awesome version of it in Session. Check it out.

Good job though Myst. The DLs are looking smooth, keep it up.

    Cheers,

    Lucas

  • like it ,another easy trick to do just a little slight of hand

  • i saw how you picked up two cards on the bottom...i think i saw that

  • i know that trick its no gimmick nice performance 5/5!!!!

  • Gimmick

  • Comment removed

  • hmmh a dubble lift in the start? and the 7 i dont know how :P and when u pick up the king of spades u do something :O

but cant figure out atm :O love ya tricks ;)

  • meh....you have been failing on me lately myst.....I guess is could be school reasons to I know that cause of exams and everything I didn't get to mess around as much ether...Anyways still keep posting :)

  • two king of spades, it must have been !!! -.-

  • Nope, only one king of spades. No duplicates as I said in the video and in the description. Thanks for the comments I appreciate it. :)

  • Wtf!?!!! Where did you learn this trick? looks sick!!! I hope you have the time to answer!! :D great trick!!!!

  • It was a simple trick, but executed brilliantly.

  • i like your version. I figured it out though. ;)

  • something seems fishy... i was enjoying it until one part of it just made no sense at all...

    O_O.

    whatever. good job Myst.

  • Love it.

  • very nicely performed.

  • Excellent!

  • your skill is still incredible...never stop..u could be someone ! 5/5

  • Damn! Impressive! Post more please. :D
