I've got this router and when it works then it works fine, the internet speed is fast...

But the problem I keep facing is that the connection frequently shuts off so you have to get off your ass, run to the router and replug it for it to work another 30 minutes or something until it cuts off the connection once again. Quite disturbing

this is a terrible router. having said that, if you need to enable upnp for something like xbox live (you'll also want to forward the ports listed on xbox live support) you need to click the "enable" radio button, put your password in both dialog boxes at the top of the screen, then click "apply changes" under what appears to be the NAT section. worst GUI ever.

I just bought this Belkin Wireless G router and am using this now with my Dell Core i3 laptop via Windows 7 and watching this video now. This Youtube video loads fairly well at the moment without stopping. But let's see in the coming days how would this router do more routine jobs such as online web editing and bulk uploads. Besides the Sony Vaio and Sony compact cameras, this device is one of the worst electronic devices manufactured in modern history. The easy set-up disc took an hour to start, and then I had to call Belkin because the disc failed. It cannot simply be plugged in and connect what connects to it, but you actually have to do software resets, connect PC to modem to download and install firmwares, and drop covenant blood on the power cable for it to connect to the internet for 20 minutes.

I bought this little box to replace my earlier router. Both of the routers were around 20€. The earlier one works perfectly, this one..

It's just a dissapointment. Wireless keeps losing internet connection every 3 minutes or so. Do not buy this for wireless use, unless you like to gamble. It may work for you, as it does for few, or it may not. I would recommend putting a little extra for a decent router instead.

This router is absolutely terrible. I agree with others how this is one big paid advertisement. Within 2 months it's almost guaranteed that the router will be dropping connections and refusing to do anything except hard wire. Save your money and buy something that isn't a piece of shit.
