True Love does not deprive children form the nurturing love of their mother or father. Divorce, single parenting or same sex nuptials do not connect to the source of such love. They break the heart of children and are the enemies of true love.

and in regards to your response to my comment, yes homosexuality deviates from what is normal, so in the definition of perversion (any of various means of obtaining sexual gratification that are generally regarded as being abnormal), yes it is a perversion, but why should that disquality gay from getting the same legal rights as you? Infertile couples don't need to have sex for the purpose of procreation, so them having sex is a perversion as well. Would you try to deny them the right to marry?

Wrong! Homosexual behavior has been proven to exist equally in animals regardless of the numbers of the opposite gender that are present. For example, in sheep, around 8% of rams are gay. They are gay for life, only courting and mating with other rams. This is observed everywhere, even in places with significantly more ewes than rams.

(I live in Colorado, and when it came for a vote here, gay people were never shown in the ads, because the pro-gay folks were afraid the straight people were not ready to see us. Doh!)

True Love does not deprive children form the nurturing love of their mother or father. Divorce, single parenting or same sex nuptials do not connect to the source of such love. They break the heart of children and are the enemies of true love.
They are just different forms of broken down families.

The Maine marriage equality and religious freedom affirmation bill passed in May ensures the freedom of religions who do not believe in same-sex marriage to not be forced to perform same-sex marriages within their religion. The question will ask people if they want to reject this religious freedom along with legalizing same-sex marriage.
