@muzikusuk, you mention Brian Auger. Nice. His pussy tune, Black Cat, is fantastic isn't it. Everything he's done has been excellent. The other Jimmy is greatat the organ too, McGriff.

I am probably one of the few people my age (23) that likes this artist. I cannot believe Jimmy is gone. He got me to like something that was usually viewed as dark and evil and turned into a totally laid back, but energetic art in his own special way. I have been interested in the B3 (the only Hammond I like) since 1999. I have heard various artists, but no one compares to Jimmy Smith. His legacy lasts an eternity.
