stop the arguing...it is a 3.5L twin turbo V8. 1992 is when every car was required to run this type of engine. I just watched the 1991 24hr Le Mans and they wouldn't stop talking about the switch for next year...1992

@DeanMLFlame nope the puegeot 905 race car had a 3.5L V10 with no turbos and it raced at lemans 1992 and 1993

@mulleris24 it's 3.5 liter twin turbo flat crank v8. the same type of v8 you'd find in a ferrari.

@mulleris24 no, this is a 3.5l v8. if you find some pics of any R89 - R92 engine bay it literally says NISSAN V8 on the engine. i think only IMSA GTP nissans had v6 engines, r89 through to the end of group c used this same v8. not sure what was used before that but im pretty sure its always been turbo V8 in jap sports car championship cars like this.
