    Nice to see there is so much appreciation and support for the waterfront trail.

  • Unlike the durham region which is highly blue collar and low in university level attainment (Pickering at 18%, Ajax at 12%, Whitby 10%, Oshawa 4%) , the area of Port Union/Rouge Hill has a university attainment level of 32%!!

    At the country club I attend, you should see the number of vice presidents, CFOs, corporate lawyers & cardiovascular surgeons who reside in "Port Union"!!

    I am seriously considering selling up from the Kingsway (where I currently live) and moving in! GM.

  • Yes Darren it is quite a wealthy area with many of Toronto's newest homes. The work that has been done on this section of the trail is impressive.

  • One of the poshest toniest areas in Toronto by far! Over 30% of residents have university degrees & avg family income surpasses $100,000/yr
