  • If they are grown from seed it will probably take a year and maybe two to bloom. Expect them to bloom in early spring. If the plant is growing well and getting plenty of sun it's probably just a question of time. Be patient. And make sure not to over-water or feed it. Rosemary grows best in lean, well-drained soil.

  • I'm thinking why is my rosemary not bearing some flowers? Any problem? It's over a year old and yet until now it's not flowering.

  • please please help me!!!... i planted some rosemary seeds and i have tons of seedlings, some are about 3 in tall but the leaves are round? are they suppose to be round till they get bigger? i didnt plant anything else in the same area :/

  • @TheDubDoubt Hmmm, even the first true leaves tend to be somewhat flat and needle-like on rosemary so I suspect if you didn't plant something else in that spot, perhaps Mother Nature did. Round leaves don't sound like rosemary. Do they have a scent when rubbed? They may be another herb. Or they may be something self-seeded from elsewhere.

  • @Janieg8s hey, thanks for your help. no, they do not have a smell or taste. i'm going to try to take a couple to a nursery to see if they can put a name to the plant lol. i just don't know what they could be because they were planted in a pot and sprout around the correct time the rosemary should of sprouted. ahh it's so frustrating
