no they arent lay eggs in the water,they lay them in beaches in the sands,after that mothers leaving their eggs,later the babies runs to the ocean :)but in water in zoo's its easier to check babies health and progress in the eggs :)

thats why i asked... i usually in every documentary the eggs a burried on a beach (an then stolen bei monkeys oder humans...)
