Wow that depresses me I always hoped if I got a graphic design degree I would get a job right away, I def want my own place not to pretend like I have my own place... Am I making the right decision or should I go for computer graphics/ modeling/ animating or some jeez
i'm in the same spot that you are. i've just started looking into freelance. i've done the unpaid internship and i don't trust that it'll lead to anything.
everyone wants experience and i have none, so i'm just not going to give up. good luck.

hi you are addorable wow im sorry you got your computer stolen im a painter im getting old 48 jobs in art are something i dont know how to do ,ive worked many jobs in my past ive been painting 13 years im hoping to get marketed soon ive worked hard at teaching my self art i need to learn how to do a portfolio i know nothing on how to promote my art ive done a couple videos on you tube nothing came of it though i think you are kind to have shared this you inspired me
It seems to me that there are no inbetween jobs in most fields these days. I'm not sure if it's because they eliminated them with budget cut backs, or it's just that Baby-boomers think that they can do everything on their own and that they are never going to get old and retire.

heads up! at least u live in CA and not in VA like I do.
As a Graphic Designer myself I enjoy what I do.
Having a strong will is all u need.
I would take the extra mils to learn new things in life like
Web Design, Illustartion, Animation , Film, photograghy etc.
