awesome pen, this is the best erasable pen i have tried, however NEVER EVER USE this pen on an exam (i mean an EXAM not a test) you can use this pen for homework or a test but never use this pen for an exam because any heat or if you have a sweaty hand it will rub out! however if it does that put it in the freezer for a couple hours and it has to be a damn cold freezer for the ink to re-apear. another problem is that the ink runs out quickly. trust me i know, cuz i only use this pen!
@jackybo123 This method will only work with this kind of special pen/ink. The supplied eraser is also based on heat. It creates heat through high friction.
i believe in theory, if you put that piece of paper back into the freezer for a hr or 2, the ink will come back, because heat causes the pen to turn invisible and by freezing it, the ink will come back. i think this is great for English teachers who demand student to use pen for homework assignment rather than using it on an official test
@STONEROCK121 no. this pen is used by professional magicians. do some damn research before you make a smart ass comment like such. btw, it's spelled "camera"
@STONEROCK121 comon, dont you know how the frixion pen works? the ink turns invisible under heat over 140 F, and so by using a lighter, it creates heat, and therefore turning the ink invisible....
This pen is Pilot FriXion good pen comes in black, blue, pink, red, etc. good pen i just used mine and tried that with a regular bic light just dont burn paper
I'll answer for him! If you were to flip the video, it wouldn't make sense if the person was right-handed, making him left-handed. I'm left-handed, too!!
Wouldn't it be dangerous for exams? Say, the papers are by chance placed underneath the hot Sun. Or even, the exam papers rub together causing friction? It may be good for doodling, but probably not for serious work. I even have the impression that photocopying will not work since the machine heats up the paper.
@XxrobbyxX7622 The things you've erased will probably come back along with the rest so you'd get overlayed words. Quite a complication than convenience.
@TaleDreamer thats what i came to ask. I had exams last week and i wrote with this paper (i didnt knew about the heat) i dont want to fail due to this
So, if one was to purchase one of these pens and the heat from the fire were to erase the writing (and not burn the book), i could put it in the fridge and all my writing would come back?
Got the same pen, bought today. Also it disapears on 60C, but on -10C it comes back, the ink...really cool. I tested it...

Man, respect for being left-handed. Never really thought about it before but seems like a real hassle not being able to see what you are writing.

The cool thing is that you can still see the ink after it's been erased if the lighting is just right, should be good for cheating

Yeah I think it says on the packet, or at least it says on the website, don't use it for legal documents, or anything of major importance.
