The most severe violation involved boosters paying players (most notably Albert Means) to come to Alabama. We lost 2 games and still hated the sound of just a sugar bowl, we needed NC. also, 13-0 Auburn's worst year ever, ended as an undefeated sugar bowl champ. i guess this is the part where i call you some playground recess name.....

I'll take Miles's balls over Saban's brain anyday. Example,1) lsu looked dead against SC, possible upset looming. miles calls the fake field goal "no look" for a TD, changes games atmosphere. 2) miles goes for it on 4th down five times in the fourth quarter to comeback on Florida. 3) Miles goes for a TD to win with NO time left against Auburn instead of a field goal to tie. 4) MILES DIDN'T GO TO MICHIGAN FOR MORE MONEY.
Saban would have lost all three of those games. He's way too conservative

I'm pretty sure most see Bama as the West favorite next year. The SEC is never easy to "runaway" with...but the Gators are a prime example that you don't have to beat everyone to win the SEC or make it to the NC.
