@bronsonwoodall well changing the realmlist isnt the only thing you need to do. All private servers require you to be at a certain patch. If you are past or haven't reached it yet, it won't work

on the left panel click on 'Documents' And find Blizzard Entertainment

Realmslist.wtf might not be there so just search your computer for 'realmlist'

For me I changed my realmlist and my patch is correct and eveything else like the site shaid i should do but I still get the retail client server and not the wowgasm private server DX

Do WoW repair then try the patch again. The realmlist.wtf doesnt do anything to mess up your patch update

dude like....i have two realmlists....one is in enUS and one is out with launcher and stuff in program files, so i put it back in wtf folder with config......the point is i change the realmlist and all, launch the game and the config file says to set realmlist on europe...i change it again but it changes back!!! ....

Go to Search and search Realmlist if it says the sorce isn't comin from World Of Warcraft get the WoW folder open bring it to the original spot.

IF that doesnt work then try searching Realm see if anything pops up.

There use to b some other text in there like "Set patchlist" or somthing, but now its just the realm list, and I changed that, saved, closed out, opened the WoW through the folder, avoided the launcher, and when i typed in account info it was still on Regular wow.

Okay. You have to SAVE the notepad after you write it in. After that you have to use "WoW" to start ip World of warcraft. Anything else and it wont work. It will be the last realmlist it was at
