  • Tri-crimp, $40. powerwerx website carries them as well as the connectors

  • anyone know what brand crimping tool he is using? The Anderson model is expensive @ $225.

  • I solder these. carries current better. Not that hard if you have the right soldering tip.

  • Give this man a white russian, bathrobe, and jellies, and he'll be a spitting image of Jeff Lebowski.

  • so tired of soldering connectors, just ordered a bag of these to swap over

  • Where can you purchase the connectors?

  • I just watched this video and noticed that the Red/Black connectors in this video are opposite to the universal standard that is commonly used for the APP's amongst RC and HAM operators.

The red should be on the Right. ( I use RED is RIGHT as a ditty to help me remember).

It makes no difference if all your packs are the same but if you like to share packs then it's best to stick with the standard because there is nothing stopping you from connecting them with reverse polarity.

  • I use these on everything, I love them!

  • Ive heard they work really well and seen them on a few race clods.

  • hows the current flow on these?? Any one use them on cars????

  • Flow is perfect.

    Yes, I'm using them.

  • so as a beginner into this hobby, i really need to know if I could reuse the parts for my old RC car to fly an RC airplane. And do I REALLY need an ESC for it. And is a 9.6V NiCd battery pack strong enough, I no its not a modern kind of batter but im not willing to invest in this hobby just yet until i get a hang of it. BTW, can i just use the ESC for any airplane or is it just like how the Transmitter and receiver work. u no, they have to be the same.

  • Yes, but it's highly unrecommended...

  • wait, what do u mean by "unrecommended" and basically what are u trying to say? in detail plz

  • Meaning there are possiblities of you crashing it due to ESC failures, just save up your money and get a real plane ESC.

  • i think there'd been a mistake, is the ESC besides aiding the plane from crashing a device that helps you control the THROTTLE, U no, slow or fast.?

  • .....? The ESC is the proportional part of the throttle.... Without it, the motor will be spinning full speed.

  • so overall, i realy dont need it at this time then cuz like i said im not serious bout it yet. i just want to see how everything goes first.

  • Screw Deans. If you solder the Power Poles you can re-use them easily without having to deal with buying more heat shrink, Or having to deal with the orange plastic body of the Dean's melting on you. I have 10 year old PP's that have been on more then one battery, Motor or ESC. ;-)

  • ill stay with deans.

  • did you gusss the mystery car?

  • did you?

  • yeah,you?

  • hell yea

  • what did u guess? kyosho... u finish the rest LOL.

  • i think its a kyosho nitro touring car

  • No adds for Deans? Bummah, dood.
