  • All Doctors should be like this.

  • Dr. Mercola, the only doctor I trust!

  • That is such a great idea to have a personal chef come and prepare food for the company. I'd wish more company's did that. I wonder if the company gets tax deductions or if it is a write-off because it's a business expense to feed all the employees?

  • wow that's a huge computer monitor haha!

  • Wow!?! Awesome to see you in this video, Lauren!?! that is soooo super cool!!! beautiful video... thank You for sharing, Dr. Mercola! <3

  • What the hell? Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or are those white hamburger buns at 3:06?

  • It may be white bread, but it's definitely Organic. I've seen that brand before.

  • Is that ice I see in that water? I'm surprised that you wouldn't realize that room temperature filtered water is best Dr. Mercola.

Would love to have the recipe for the guacamole!

  • Beautiful building. The only improvement I would suggest would be some shubbery and trees on the outside to shield from the traffic on the hihghway that is visible through the windows in the video.

  • OMG you're not VEGAN?

  • Most health conscious people believe it is ok to have some amount of high quality animal protein. aka Free range, grass/vegetarian fed. and of course no hormones!

  • To @suicidechickenshit : Mercola is anti VEGAN

  • @MoroccanSword I dont think he is Anti-Vegan, but based on his nutrition needs, he is a protien type (so he needs lots of protien). I am a nutritional "mixed type" based on the test but I choose to be Vegan and eat high quality protein from beans/nuts/etc. instead of meat.

  • This video was a long time coming. I am so glad you did this Dr. Mercola!

  • there is no link to the other video you were talking about

  • are you kidding? Celtic Sea salt is made from the polluted coastal waters of France, not to mention seagulls poop all over where they lay out the salt. It would make sense to obtain salt that's hundreds of thousands of years old that was made from the ocean before it was tainted by man. In other words Himalayan Salt is better

  • Hey Doc,

For Optimal Nutrition you should be eating 6 small meals a day.

  • I believe that can depend on how well you assimilate what you eat. But yes, I agree, a small flow of nutrition is better than 2 or three meals throughout the day.

  • thanks dr mercola.

  • So what, do you think that high levels from highly refined table salt or msg is the same as high levels of sodium from natural salt that still has trace minerals present? They're not the same thing. Salt is super important, remember the Romans were paid in salt, why is that? Because its important to the body.

  • I think it's clear that Dr. Mercola is a proponent of Himalayan Salt over anything.

  • I herd Himalayan salt although healthier then table salt, still has high sodium in it that cause hypertension.

  • nope.. "The Crystal Salt from the Himalayas does not burden your body as other salts do. It is very difficult for your body to absorb too much crystal salt since there are powerful and effective feedback loops that regulate this process. Natural crystal salt always promotes a healthy balance and does not contribute to high blood pressure like typical table salt."

    that's from Mercola's site. products.mercola. com/himalayan-salt/

  • The Less Salt the better.

For equilibrium between these two minerals, it is recommended to consume from two to five times as much potassium as sodium. In a traditional western diet, the exact opposite is often the case; people tend to ingest twice the amount of sodium as potassium, every day. This imbalance could be a major factor in the high prevalence of high blood pressure and heart disease.

  • nice vid doc :D

quick question is that grass fed beef cooked or do you eat it raw?

  • i'd say that's cooked, I'm sure Doc won't take a chance of having there be parasites in the meat, EVEN IF if it is grass fed.

  • true true

i just figured that the majority of what he eats is raw

if I'm not mistaken in one of his videos he mentioned that at least 80% of his diet is raw
