I watched it a bit when I was still in South Africa on SABC3 and he said things like "theres a person in the audience begining with the letter B" "someone is in the audience wants to reach out their late grandma" blah blah I mean really! This is sick, I really actually feel ill watching this.

I can read people this good with interpersonal intuition, honestly, he's very unsure of himself. See Penn & Teller's episode of "Bullshit" that shows Mr. Edward and his type. The guy is a total fraud who plays upon the tragedies and heartbreaks of his audience. He cold reads people and asks a bunch of questions until he gets a "yes" answer, then he acts like he is talking with their dead relatives.

Edward is a total fake and any network showing this guy should be ashamed of themselves. But they aren't. TV is all about the money...they laugh at their responsibilities to the public.

John Edward is fascinating to watch and learn from. a great teacher. i have seen every episode of his show Crossing Over as well as Cross Country and i'm still amazed on so many levels. i also like his dogs.
