This is one of the better Contras. It was nice to see an exclusive to the Genesis. There's 2 or 3 parts in the gameplay where if you had the homing missile power up you could get up to 99 men.

They made the American version a bit too hard. The Japanese version is report to be easier with extra life bars and unlimited continues.

i must say, even if the pal version is supposed to be censored with robots instead of humans, it's much more fun to play as fighting robot machines insteand of real soldiers. ;-)
