HammerFall is Classic Heavy/Power Metal band.

They have Classic Heavy Metal songs like Let The Hammer Fall, At The End Of The Rainbow, Crimson Thunder, Riders Of The Storm, and Power Metal songs like The Dragon Lies Bleeding, Legion, Secrets etc.

i only just discovered this (awesome!) band and immediately had to link to dream theater (DT being way more progressive though), to power metal (any power metal lol) and to DGM, an unknown band that has some awfully good music. they also have a progressive tweak and S-X especially reminds me of DGM when the singer is singing high and long.

I saw DragonForce live at Ozzfest '06. They were way overhyped (System of a Down was way underhyped thanks to that!)

Also, Symphony X is way better than DragonForce. What the hell do DragonForce songs even mean? I'm pretty sure they're all about flames, fire, dragons, hyper editing, coming up with the worst lyrics possible, taking away the spotlight of great progressive metal bands, & screwing over your fans with terrible live performances.

Symphony X on the other hand, owns everything.
