  • A masterpiece.

  • Magic ! They are in perfect harmony

fuck people who do not like it, you are deaf ?

  • I love Floyd as much as anyone here but did anyone notice Dave skipped the second and imho best solo? Check your album versions. Remember that god-toned solo just before the first vocals? It would be like listening to Comfortably Numb without both solos. Just sayin...but Dave's Strat tone is still the best...Knopfler is up there too

  • David Gilmour = Dark Side OF The Moon

    Roger Waters = The Wall

Richard Wrigth & Nick Manson = Pompeii

Roger Waters , Richard Wrigth , Nick Manson , and David Gilmour Are Pink Floyd.

  • ho messo le cuffie anche al mio cane gandalf gli piace

  • great song! Love so much Pink floyd

  • This was an all day concert. Paul McCartney played before Pink Floyd, and they were they last act of a long day. I was cold, wet and my contact lenses were burning my eyes. I left uring Hey Jude and missed Floyd all together. I'm still kicking myself in the ass for that.

  • @alansells

    glasses ftw!

  • Thank you for this..

  • The Royal Albert Hall version of this is amazing.

  • excellent

  • LO QUE ME HACE SENTIR ESTO, ME OLVIDO DE TODO, ME DA UNA PAZ INTERIOR

  • @SuperFiore12 Claro!

  • I'm TOTALLY in love of the saxophonist, what a great sax player, that's amazing, how can they call "music" their unalive sound they put on the radio when you listen to this masterpiece...

  • I was there, what a day, culminating in this epic piece of mastery.

  • Wow! what a Master piece from Pink Floyd...I never get tired of it

  • i dropped too much acid

  • @RazicatSpokr this isn't that trippy of a song. Try the middle of Echoes.

  • Pink Floyd cherish my ears and my soul. Nobody else in the whole world wide is able to give to sense of inner peace and at the same time to let my skin shiver.

"Shine on you crazy diamond" is one of their mastepieces.

    Splendete diamanti pazzi, splendete!

  • el coño de su madre de david guilmour con unos emeg dg20. fuked up

  • Richard looks pretty alright in this video. It really bothered me how Richard Wright passed in 08 and it really wasn't a huge deal. Without Richard Pink Floyd would be just another decent band and not the gods that they are.

  • Listening to this, headphones on, drinking JD. Perfect.

  • a real classic just what you need wen you want chill, love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • КЛАСС!!!

  • RIP Richard Wright,we'll never forget you.

  • @ yackyick,

The chick playing sax is Candy Dulfer. Take a look at some of her stuff on youtube.

  • Баррет-FOREVER!!!

  • Баррет-FOREVE!!!

  • this is their best song ever

  • I hope you shine, and shine and shine. x

  • shine on you!!!! rick wright & syd barrett!!

  • that woman with the saxo killed it! literally!

  • YOU KNOW WHAT PISSES ME OFF...... THIS ONLY HAS 556,536 VIEWS WTF YOUTUBE

  • 6 people definitely need to be shot

  • My entire life resumed in just one song. Fantastic.

  • It was absolutely cool to be in LA in 1968 and present when Pink Floyd was doing concerts at the Shrine Auditorium. They would walk on stage, pick up their instruments, and play for 3 hours straight without stopping, flowing melodically, rhythmically, seamlessly from one piece to the next. And anyone from the 1960's who does not remember those times, must have been mindless, heartless, and/or just plain unconsciously oblivious then and/or perhaps now.

  • Que exotica Candy Dulfer me eriza la piel cada vez que escucho ese solo de saxo

  • I Pray for "Sid".

May God Bless all People with illness.

  • Siento naci en la epoca equivocada .........aguante Pink floyd Viva Roger Syd Barret!!!

  • 5 people was never shined on.

  • The fives who dislike this video are deaf and blind o_O

  • There's still plenty of good music being made out thee, you just don't hear about it like we used to. Lacuna Coil, The Hiatus, and plenty of other bands are kicking rock and roll ass, you just have to seek it out. Radio is dead, nothing new really breaks there unless you have a good college station in your town. Japan has a phenomenal rock scene we just don't hear about it here in the states. Try myspace for new music. All is not lost, it's just that "these times they are a-changing".

  • Total command !

  • fuck EMI

  • This is NOT just music. Its well above that. Its the ESENCE of LIFE.

  • I was born in the 80s. That's my only regret in life.

  • ...let's loop..

  • Yes i to was born in 48 and seen many live concerts from The Eagles,Stones, The Who,Cream,Blind Faith,Canned Heat,Led Zeppelin and many more. But nothing and i mean nothing compares to Pink Floyd at the Hollywood Bowl. Two times i enjoyed the surround sound they used. Coming at u from all directions. What a f....king rush.

  • I have said for years, Pink Floyd is absolutely the very best concert I have seen, and I have seen many.

  • Only one thing to say. I was born in '48 and I am so blessed to have known Floyd and literally thousands of other incredible artists of all genre. Please, everyone,my time is short. Pass on what you have heard and seen to the young ones. Let them find the wonderland and pass it on themselves. Bless all.

  • que cancion de poca madre

  • does anyone know where i can find a video of great gig with clair doing vocals from this concert i would love to see it

  • I guess the 70s and 80s were a golden time. Not only for music but in general. Everything was going well worldwide, people were more real, the economy was really good (in the developed countries)....Now look at us. We have deteriorated so much, I can just feel how all this sh*t is going to collapse on our heads any time now...

  • @Kando0615 Golden times, yes. A veritable Eden when everything was perfect. No troubles, no troubles at all... Oh yeah, forgot about that Viet Nam War thing, the '72 Olympics, the 70's Energy Crisis, recession and stagflation, the Iran Hostage Crisis, the Cold War threat of Nuclear Annihilation. Any of those things ring a bell? Economically and geopolitically, the world hasn't changed much! Still the same problems, just with some new faces, along with some of the same old faces.

  • who is this drummer?

  • @fight2Bfree

    Nick Mason

  • Anyone that knows anything about music on a more advanced theoretical level would tell you that this has to be one of the most genius rock songs ever, due to the fact that both parts of the "Shine On You Crazy Diamonds" songs together are actually 9 different movements. Freaken brilliant!!!

  • I love it. Thank You

    Debbie California,USA

  • I lice it! Gilmour the best as always.

  • 4 people dont have ears

  • 9:18 this woman made the solo fo her life with hair in mouth :-D

  • *Begins...* Wow, this part is fucking good ... Wow, this part,'s better ! ... Wow, this one is even better than the two first ! ... What the fuck, this saxophone solo is even better ! Is there any limit to Pink Floyds talent ?

  • Anyone else think that sax solo is about the sexiest performance they've ever scene? Holy crap.

  • gli assoluti psichedelici....by gian marco caboni

  • Wau, ¿Quién es la chica que toca el sax en este concierto? Mis respetos para ella!!

  • beautiful song! gilmour the best.. ciao

  • veinymark is obviously wetawded

  • I absolutely love their song 'Kaleigh'. The rest (like this 'song') is complete crap

  • @veinymark Are you retarded?

  • david gilmour is the only person that could ever rock the ben franklin look and kick ass at the same time... he is a total badass

  • Roger Waters must have voted 4 times

  • See the unedited leaked webcam SEX video that Justin Bieber made with his new girlfriend, Selena Gomez – on my channel NOW, before it’s deleted by YouTube!!

  • @74PRam

  • Esecuzione favolosa ....... una canzone di 10 minuti, dove la trovate ?

  • Niesamowite

  • I seen them in concert and have brain damage from it. :)

  • hey guys check out my cover of this great song!

  • Candy Dulfer on saxophone, I feel a little dutch pride here. I love Pink Floyd.

Still I thank my dad for being a fan, I grew up with Pink Floyd and I'll always love that band.

  • Merciiii

  • And Candy Dulfer on sax, too cool!

  • God Bless Gilmour .

  • the 4 dislikes are probably deaf people watching this video thinking that thats andre rieu performing not pink floyd

  • and this version is short to the version of the cd more music to listen even better!!

  • who are the dumb 4 blokes who dislike this track????...get a life please!!

  • @spacehunk23 those dumb 4 blokes fainted on the dislike button from listening

to the awesomeness of this song

  • wow ...I worked this gig for the staging company...then we got detained by security while on vacation in Israel(2 days later), waiting for our next tour, cos a mate forgot to smoke something in his pocket! Its funny now! Ahhh...memories...priceless

  • In fact, I could just listen to this song on and on and on forever. I play this in an infinite loop almost every time I listen to it.

  • LO MEJOR DE ESTE PLANETA PINK FLOYD HUUUUUUUU MUY BUENA MUSICA MUY EROTIKA MUY TODO

  • that ending sax solo struck emotions in me i didn't know were attainable through music

  • They are way past the next level. When you get to the next level, they are at the next waiting on you. I don't care for sports at all. I love GOOD music. This is really GOOD music.

  • Gilmour was singing about his friend and ex Pink Floyd member Syd Barrett. This nails it too. When Syd started doing acid, they lost him way before he left the band.

This is an awesome song, but everything Pink's done is. David plays these seeming slow, easy riffs on the guitar. There are entire websites devoted to the "Gilmourish" sound. It's deeeeeeep stuff.

  • Pink Floyd was formed the same year and month I was born. Sep 1963.No wonder I like it so much.

  • syd were still thinking of you ,

  • ten minutes of happiness ...

  • The pipes on that black chick. Wow

  • Let's liven things up a bit!! Larry's fav group and the song I like the best.

  • one of the best sound in a song ever

  • those 3 guys can go and have a threesome..

  • @CrazyGirl12123 Keep telling them and one day they might listen, good luck.....

  • I wish I was there when Pink Floyd were famous, then I won't get all those blank stares from my class mates when I talk about their amazing ability to make music that moves the soul!

  • @CrazyGirl12123 man i feel your pain i was born in 77 and i got to live the music when bands from the late 60's and 70's were at their prime from floyd, members of the beatles, zepplin, the who, stones, queen, etc to the 80's with guns n roses and metallica music then was treated as art and a way of life. I feel sorry for this generation with all fake manufactured non-sense they call music now.

  • @kalen486 amen! justin beiber, lady gaga, katy pery...the list just goes on. most of the really good bands dont get the credit the deserve because the mainstream media is so polluted by shit music. just look at the grammy's award this year and you would despair with the list of nominations. i so missed (born in late 80's) the times when music actually say something intellectual...

  • @kalen486 I know. I was born in '61 and it was still too late in my own opinion. I woulda liked to have been born early enough so I could 've gone to the original Woodstock. I Woulda Loved That!!! Wow. Still born too late..... :)

  • @MsLeen101

Hi My name is Debbie Burgreen. I am in California but I was at the original Woodstock in 1969. I am still there. My values are still the same but I have grown spiritually. I am 60 now but still in 1969.

  • @deb19501 awesome, you rock !

  • @deb19501 Tell me you saw Santana

  • @deb19501 \m/

  • @kalen486 Thank god we have the internet which includes videos of live concerts.

And also, the 4 people that were actually able to press Dislike, pls have your ears checked! (And maybe you head too)

  • @kalen486 hey at least u weren't born in the 90's! lol. we have to deal with this so called music they have today. i was born '92! I was born too late! ;(

  • @kalen486 Excuse me but I was in hi school in the 70's and saw many of those great bands, but the music today is more exciting and because of digital technology a new element of songwriritng possibilities are reborn every day. This was impossible in the 70's, I'm not saying todays music is "better", but it's evolving...as it must. I could listen to Just Beaver or Selena Gomez just as easy as Pink Floyd.

  • @krsongs pink floyd put more love soul and effort into their music

beiber just reads from a script and auto-tunes taking away all talent and skill

  • @kalen486 You're more right than right.

  • I must be the greatest pInk floyd fan ever, and i think this music is a masterpeace, however i dislike the video... just 4 u ppl understand that the only thing that matters is that u hear the music and feel it :D it doesnt matter if someone clicks on a fuckin botom :D

  • Grande canzone!!!

  • Great song!!!!

  • two guys are fans of lady gaga

  • so gooooooood

  • fuck pitbull,jb,mj,2pac,emi,miley,hannah,selena,avril,shakira,jayz let there be more good music like pink floyd

  • @SydBarrett997 YES YOU TELL THEM!

  • @SydBarrett997 Just because you don´t like the music by the people you´ve listed doesn´t give you the right to say "fuck these people". That´s ignorant.

  • This song is straight up haunting , its feels like the notes are just able to tell the story of Pink Floyds tragedy with Syd without having to write any lyrics , as if the lyrics weren't genius already. simply amazing . simply genius.

  • this song kicks cheecks

  • this era will never ever come back, where musicians used to spend time to write and compose a song or a tune, everything was acoustic, and improvised and inspired, nowadays music became just a noise with a nonsense words & lyrics, even the quick generation of this time can't make a difference between music or noise, respect to all music & musicians of 60 & 70, PINK FLOYD 4 EVER

  • @petitfiloux1 This is plain wrong. This era will never come back, true that. But to say that nowadays youth has no sense of music and can't respect gods like Pink floyd is plain wrong.

  • wow,, the sax women !!! she's beautiful and plays the sax soo good !!! wow !!

  • "PINK FLOYD - Shine on you crazy diamond (2) - cover (keyboard).wmv" please watch this

  • Good lord... One of the most amazing pieces of music ever written, and this is an amazingly tight rendition. And David Gilmour - oh, man, we are NOT WORTHY!!!

  • it is clasik music like mocart

  • pink floyd is so eerie which is one of the reasons their good

  • @mikey29407 Exactly!

  • One word: Fantastic.

  • THE BEST BAND OF THE WORLD

  • @PinkFloyd793

that's funny, considering that you have the band name in your screen name. Methinks that you're trying to instill a sense of pride in the band rather than hatred towards the band.Almost like reverse psychology perhaps?

  • @lickurbass obviously sarcasm. best band ever

  • I just can't listen to this because of the out-of-tune G David plays at the beginning. It sends shivers through my spine, in a bad way.

  • nice

  • Because of Pink Floyd I always hesitate to answer when someone asks me: Dude, can you play guitar? Well, yeah, in theory. But unfortunately, there are guys like David Gilmour so the statement "I can play" must be taken with a lot of reserve.

That man does more emotional damage with one note then others do with entire albums.

  • @DumbEdain "That man does more emotional damage with one note then others do with entire albums."

    I lol'd! I do see your point though :)

  • @DumbEdain too true

  • I know what you mean dude! and yes, it is indeed 'emotional damage'!

  • @DumbEdain Aint THAT the truth!

  • @DumbEdain

    I Disagree

About 99% of artists write an album for themselves, so im sure just as much emotion goes into theyre entire albums as much as David Gilmours, and im sure there are people out there who feel the same about other bands as well as pink floyd

while your right tht he does alot of "emotional damage" in his notes, just as many other bands do aswell

  • listen to this song while your trippin your balls off. its a must

  • muito boa essa música, a homenagem é mais bela ainda

grande banda, grandes artistas, ícones da música de qualidade

    parabéns Pink Floyd

    Brazil

  • Hmm, I just came to a realization of something that I never thought of before while listening to this. Pink Floyd (and alot of music of this era) has the ability to take a 10 min song and make it feel like its only 3 min long. That's incredibile, because most bands make a song thats 2 or 3 min long but it feels like an eternity for it to be over. This a sign of good writing and composition. Am I wrong here?

  • @kisstharing U´r damn right, i keep listening to it on and on and when i hear Candy´s sax i feel like 'hey, its in the end already?' PF play better and better over the years...

  • @kisstharing correct!

  • @kisstharing

No sir. You are very right.. This is beautiful.

  • @kisstharing 100%right

  • @kisstharing you're totally right!!
