They Run mainly through FOH. their stage volume is almost non existent. Sounds Awesome farther back but up close you see how really quiet it is up on stage. Smart for them sucks for people right up front.

sounded like, not their best perfomance but I'm sure it would sound much better with an engineer who had at least listened to the big layered sound of the album at least once.

Yeah this wasn't very good. Not much keyboards. Seemed much more guitar-driven rather than a nice blend of both. I think the problem here is obvious. Roland looks like he is going through the motions and I think Charlton's guitar playing has a lot to do with it.

Um, I love TFF as much as anyone, but this is pretty lousy, like bad karaoke. Where is the beat, the oomph, that heavy slower groove that made this tune so unique? The tempo is rushed and Roland and Curt seem to be going through the motions.

I just listened to Disturbed's version and it's just a version that fits todays music but the message is the same.....if you take Disturbed's version back to 84 it would be completely out of place but bring Tears version to the future and it remains powerful....a testament to a great song.

Fun to know who's got the original... but, still. Disturbed's version is SO much better.. this is just so dead, the song has much more potensial than they are showing here, they don't give it no strenght... =P (though this is my opinion)

Well yeah, it's live and in they weren't in their prime like they were 20 + years ago. I havent heard disturbeds version but im just saying. What I hate is people who say rammsteins version of Depeche Mode's stripped is better than the original!

Yes i must agree, if you watch the live version in california on Youtube (Tears For Fears - Shout (Live) , you will see a huge difference in the quality of his voice. He has (or had)such a strong voice, checkout Badmans Song live, the best ive ever seen them perform.
