I know how to do it. You get a card and add 13 cards after the 13th card is its soul mate

I've worked most of it out I think - to begin with he's done 13 cards then the next 13 are the soul mates of those cards. so they are paired up there. The cuts don't mess up how many cards away they are from each other. Then by cutting and putting the other half on top the order of the cards are reversed for a few cards until getting to your card. Then it should work. I think that is how it is done but i could be wrong :/

I think i figured this one out guys. i was able to replicate the trick using a full deck in si stebbins order. I followed the steps in this video and it worked perfectly. Great trick.
