The bar with the big blue collars is 8.5 kg. Thats why I put the little 1.25 kg plates on the inner, to make it just over 10 kg as I like to keep the totals more standard. I am actually lifting about 1 kg more than I claim. The inner thick black plate and the thinner, but bigger diameter silver plate are both 20 kg.
Thanks Nickepickparonpung, that was about 8 months ago, im now doing 120kg for 4 reps and 130kg for 2 reps, but unfortunately im not allowed to use cameras at the gym I now train at.
Thanks Boris, this was last year, im stronger now. My mate hasn't trained with me since this video last October, he's met and moved in with his girl, so I never see him anymore LoL
well done man. well done. just now i bench press 205lbs/93kg 12 reps in a row. and i weigh 168lbs/76kg. what do u think of that achievement for a guy my size? im 5'11/180cm and weigh 168lbs/76kg. and i've been training for 6 months on and off. and what do u think my one rep max would be if i can bench press 205lbs/93kg 12 reps in a row. help?
For someone training naturally, your effort at 93kg is very good effort, especially at 5ft11 and 168lb bodyweight, keep up the effort, put some vids on.
Your 1RM for bench press would probably be around 115 kg, give or take 5kg as everyone is different to a certain degree
That was good fun to watch.
