  • I bought one of these online after watching this Video. Honestly it is by far better than I expected. Its really worth the money. I got the IGIG 515 in Tweed. I have no worries about my Roscoe in this Bag. Great Video Steve.

  • @BullDogPipeGuy Thanks so much!! I really stand behind these bags!! I think I own 4 of them now!!

  • My mind is made up now. Thanks.

  • Thanks for your time on the overview. Where you say the bags' "bat wings" have no function, if you do have to check a bag, or even if it gets put in a bus luggage compartment, they help keep the bag from getting snagged and caught on things as opposed to having zippers or bungee straps on the sides.

  • @gypbob123 Nice call!! I never thought of that but you're right, the wings do help keep the mesh pocket protected!!!

  • It does Steve Thanks! I have one ordered now and on the way. Thanks again! Nice Tegu by the way. I'm a kingsnake Guy. Worked with Bluetongues a lot too.

    Bob.

  • @Bobstranz Hi Bob!! Thanks for checking out the video!! The iGig gig bags all have extra foam at the bottom bout end of the bag with a little cut-out/divot where the end pin rests and will never hit the ground, I think there's a pic of it on the web site. Any and all high end gig bag manufacturers will take all of these little details into account. I ONLY use gig bags and have never had any damage to my basses...knock on wood...whether flying, driving, etc...hope this help!!!

  • Steve, thanks for the video. I'm a bit apprehensive about going to a gig bag instead of hardshell. .I read on the TB Forum that folks that have used gig bags say they have gotten damage from zippers on the bottom and horn of their basses, also the bottom strap pin area cracking when hitting the floor. How is the Igig 515 any different?

    Thanks,

It looks like a possibility for me.

    Bob.
