Thank you for having such great video of these guys. I worked with Kirk for a short while and had a major crush on him, made only more majorer after having seen these guys live. This was one of those songs that required a lot of room for dancing and thrashing about!
I remember seeing these guys, freaked me OUT! they were so fucking great. Well before music was co-opted and made a pansy by record companies. 10 years pre-grunge, these guys were transcendent, I could hardly believe what I was seeing. A band like Pearl Jam would have been playing Ryans 1986...
Agreed - best live band EVER. Saw them in 1988 at the 7th St. Entry, one of the most memorable concerts of my life. Kirk walking out onto the stage with a maraca to open with "Skeletor." When they were "on" their shows would leave you with goosebumps for days, thinking of the experience. The kind of show you talk about 20 years later. Not all shows were on, but you had to see them every chance you got just for that possibility. Regret I didn't see them more.
