  • The only time I would consider deployment of my BRS is during a catastrophic failure. Many of the so called saves were pilots in a state of panic who shouldnt have deployed. 1st rule to remember keep flying the plane.

  • I'm sure the guys that pull their handles because they were in a panic said the same thing you do. Mike Tyson once said everyone has a game plan until they get punched in the face! Someone in a real panic not in the right state of mind at that point probably couldn't land the plane either, for them it would be like having the wing fall off. I know it sound crazy, but they did the right thing, they're alive to tell the story. Good for them: )

  • @bamasbulldogs You are correct but jeez it's nice to know you have an option.

  • I'm 18! Does that mean we're brothers? :D

  • Got mine in 1990, repacked once, same rocket. F*&k I hope it still works:-)

  • @dtuer Is there any way to test it might still work without a deployment?

  • i dont understand why did you do that

  • This was an old BRS out of date both shute and rocket. To expensive to revise. Have a new one Galaxy (made in Czech)

  • that makes me feel better about my BRS in my Challenger II!!
