  • i loved ur demo's on the book i haven't ventured in2 doin these yet however i am hoping 2 try soon thanx 4 sharing

  • just in reference to your comment about the paperbags not being acid free. I was on a scrapbook supply website today..can't remember which one and they have a spray that makes things acid free.

  • Yes, there are at least two buffering sprays that I know of ~ Krylon's "Make It Acid Free" and then there is also "Archival Mist". They would both work on a project like this for anyone who is concerned with "acid free" which is not a huge concern of mine.

  • This is so beautiful! I love the papers! I can't wait to try it. =)

  • Thank you so much ~ I hope you have so much fun with your album!

  • Kathryn, are you getting sick of me telling you how AWESOME you are. Well too bad!! You are AWESOME!! Thank you for sharing. As I said before, I hope when you become rich and famous that you remember us and continue to make us some videos. Brenda

  • Hi, Brenda! Thanks so much for your awesome comments -- wonderful, as usual!!! I am sure that in the unlikely event that I become rich or famous I will still be scrapping and still be making videos!

  • Loved It. Can't wait for the finished product

  • Thank you! I appreciate your comments!

  • This is a great album, can't wait to see the finished product. I've never thought of binding the bags this way before....my next album will be in this style. Thanks for your videos - wish we had somewhere like Michaels in the UK! Our hobby store is very expensive!

  • Thanks so much -- I'm so glad you're enjoying it!

  • This is a beautiful project, too bad it's not acid free it "should" last many generations it would be a wonderful legacy.

    ~Jill

  • The bags are not acid free as is. If you wanted to make it acid free, you could spray the bag all over (front, back, inside, etc.) with an acid buffer like Krylon's "Make It Acid Free" or Preservation Technology's "Archival Mist."

I am not overly concerned about the acid content of mini books since I figure they won't last the same way an album will anyway -- they're less sturdy, handled more, get more exposure to light & dust, etc. My albums are acid free and mini books are mostly acid free.

  • i have raided my stash and i am making an album this weekend i can't wait!!!

  • Awesome! I hope you have tons of fun & I'd love to see what you make! Thanks for watching -- I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos!
