@Johntsarev That's not how DX10 works. Many games are faster with DX10 than with DX9, because the former is much better optimized. If the system is able to manage DX10, it should work better than DX9. It's obvious that if your PC struggles with DX9, it won't run well with DX10... But look at games like Borderlands or Assassin's Creed. They run much better and more fluidly in DX10.
I get 90-120 FPS Crysis Warhead/ 60-90 FPS Crysis. 2xAA, Triple Buffering, All settings maxed:

2x Intel Core 2 Duo 2.46ghz (1 rendering, 1 physics)
4GB RAM
nVidia GF 250 GTS 1GB, FC
Win7 Ultimate x64
IMO 2 Processors with the same speed threaded together works better than a single quad. Someday I'm going to get two quads (3.66ghz).
