I miss the old version. I was talking to a kid about angelina who said that the newer version was better.. I soon told him better! They still show the older episodes on my TV so I'm happy.. I don't know why they changed Angelina.. she was perfect the way she was before she went 3D!

Aww i miss these versions, i used to watch them and race home after school everyday just to see an episode haha, i collected all the anuals from 2004 to 2010 i think it is and then they stopped making them because the crappy 3d shit took over, i acctually found a competition adress in one of the anuals and wrote a letter of complaint :P they didnt write back though...

I identified with Angelina so much in this episode. I have 3 younger sisters and every time a new one came, I was ignored- I got no help with my homework and wasn't able to show my parents anything I had done. One day, I did a drawing that I was really proud of. I showed it to my parents, only to have a standard: "Oh, wow, that's very nice."

i used to watch it all the time when i was smaller. I still have it on dvd. When i watched it i would pretend i was dancing with her. I would pretend to preform with her dancing as my mom in the audience. i would dance so much that for christmas i got a ballet set with ballet slippers, a tu tu, and a ballet barre. it was so much fun. such fond memories. :}

Even if Angelina begins to like Polly, she still would have problems with her in the 3D series. This is in episodes Angelina's Ballet School (becomes a strict teacher when Polly can't follow her dance steps), and Angelina's Nature Dance (annoyed of Polly trying to ruin her nature dance).

Regardless, Angelina reconciles with Polly in those episodes.

You know, coming from someone who loves both the old and new Angelina Ballerina show, I don't see the problem with either. The new one has tons of things kids like, just as the older one did. It's kind of disappointing to see so many older fans trash the new one, simply because it's 3D and not exactly what they want. (Not all, but most).

Anyway, thanks for uploading. I have all the episodes as well, and it's good to see at least a few online!

I actually love both the classic AB, and AB:TNS.

I appreciate the classic better. Though I still like the new 3D. Won't be collecting the DVDs though the way I am collecting the classics anytime soon.

But honestly you guys; do you HAVE to diss the new AB:TNS? I mean really!

I got A Star Collection and 3 Disc Collection. But now that MagnaVision Philippines have AB locally, I'm glad I can get ALL the classical episode here, without having to order online and then waiting for weeks.

@alexstylesx I have. It's total crap, right? I mean it's ok for nowadays because the new generation of little kids these days probably haven't seen the old version and TNS is their first Angelina, so they are used to it. But for me and loads of other older kids who used to watch the first AB, it's ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! They don't even look like real mice any more, and Polly isn't even brown anymore! The new animators don't even know what they are doing, they are lazy!

@AnimePonyDragon I beg to differ. The classic and the new 3D are two different kinds of "fruit". It is like comparing an apple to an orange. Just because they are both fruits (or in this case both Angelina Ballerina) doesn't make the animators lazy.

I can assure you they made several studies and decided to do away with certain designs. You should look at sdentertainment website and look at the Angelina Ballerina Production page.

@AnimePonyDragon I like it. Am glad that all the episodes of AB Classics Series 1 are now available locally in my country. GOTTA HAVE 'EM ALL!!!! Next quarter, they will have Series 2! Then I'll have all the episodes except for 2 feature lengths (Angelina Sets Sail and All Dancers On Deck).

@nightstargill But it is more realistic. This is how Katherine Holabird meant Angelina Mouseling to be. That was how she made her moral lessons in the books. And that is one major thing I like about the classic.

The 3D are meant for a much much younger audience, like 6 years old and below, hence the simple storylines and colorful clean pretty cute things.

@nightstargill True...I guess that is why I wrote a fan fiction of TNS (which of course includes characters from the classic 2D) which I haven't finished. My fav episodes in TNS are the 1s that hav conflict, w/c ofcourse is quite simplistic compared to the conflicts in the stories of the 2D classics, like Alice and Angelina having a fight that threatened their friendship, or the Pinkpaws and Sammy ganging up on poor Anya and her nomadic people, which is actually about racism and discrimination.
