@musiclover2181 It's really not that scary. The first time I was on it, which was years ago, I covered my eyes the whole time. But I went on it twice last year with my eyes wide open. And I'm a scaredy cat. It's very entertaining and quite humorous.

Im a 23 year old man (on wifes account). Ill admit the bride looks a little creepy. I can see me being creeped out when we come around the corner seeing that. But year, pretty tough to get scared when your around everyone else. Good effects though!!! Im going April 3rd-5th hope it doesnt rain!!!

I went to the Disney World in Florida in 1999 and my favorite part of the haunted mansion ride was going passed the mirrors where it looked like the ghost was sitting next to me and my friend lol it was fun i wish i could go back and space mountain was awesome too! :)

No, it's really not. The elevator part is kind of scary, that is before you start the ride, but that is mostly because you are trapped. The real part of the ride is not that scary. it's just kind of weird. The ghost are all "happy haunts" says Disney!"

the ride went under a major refurbishment in 2007. Many of the effects were fixed with newer technology, and I believe the audio was upgraded as well. Little things, like sprucing up the ride and scens was also done.

dang. our freshman class went last month or so and we waited in a HUGE line, in the heat,with these evil demon children behind us that pushed us (haa they were like 2nd graders), and we get in there, they turn the lights off and we kind of freak out just cause we dont like the dark.or i dont hah. and were walking in the hall and they turn the lights on and say they have dificulties with the ride and we had to leave out an emergency exit -_-.and iv still never been on it.dang

The funny thing is that the "stretching room" originated at Disneyland in Anaheim becasue they needed to get the guests outside the berm surrounding the park into the ride building. It's actually a large elevator, and there are two of them. That's why when you exit you go up an escalator.

In Orlando, there's no need for the elevator so the ceiling just raises and you don't change floors.
