  • The Rescue was awesome... despite the poor response from the media it was an awesome night of dance and activism. C'mon Kevin get behind the Invisible Children

  • Was a great night. Good job people.. Don't stop untill the children are set free in Uganda!!

The Australian Media is a joke! Pathetic responce from them.

  • haha yeh i went to the sydney one. was so awesome. loved the dancing!!!!

    BELAYLAH!

  • How awesome was that spontaneous african dance! That was def. the highlight of my night!

    "Hold on Uganda"

  • fanfreakingtastic sydney!!! Yeah it was totally amazing to see the everyone young and old to get involved and the ballerina tribal dancing to belaylah OMG the teens certainly rock these days! lol Im 30 and apart from having my kids id have to say that is one of the most important nights of my life, my sponsor child is in Uganda so its very close to my heart!

WE HEAR - WE SUPPORT - WE ACT!

  • Tonight at 5pm on SKY NEWS did a 5min interview with Christina and Colin from IC.

It was an awesome night last night Sydney everyone who attended you guys should all be proud!

We may not have got much media attention on the night but that does not mean we have to give up, we keep the movement going and keep on spreading the word.

    RESCUE JOSEPH KONY'S CHILD SOLDIERS!

  • Great video :D I"ve been waiting for something to come online. It was a great night!

  • YEAAAAHHHHH!!! I was there. What a Night! XD

  • This rocks!! You guys got the fancy camera and the special sign! =P

Denver was rescued as well! Hope all the other cites do too!

  • Yay for Denver! Although it took Sydney 12 hours to be rescued, the media just wouldn't respond. They were actually kind of cold.

  • Aw, that sucks!! Who rescued you? We got rescued at about 8pm, so ours wasn't that bad.

  • We were rescued by an Australian Actor at about 9:30, but we didn't raise all our flags until 5:30 this morning, when channel 7 (reluctantly) sent out a camera guy.

  • yeah, "Stingy Sydney"

  • That sucks, mean media! =P Our media flag was actually the first, and we got every flag by 8pm except for our black flag. We didn't have an overnight permit, so we couldn't spend the night =(

  • black flag? We didn't have a black flag, what was that one?

We didn't have a permit for that location, we went to Hyde Barracks (whcih is a museum) and slept there, outside ^^

  • It was for getting like 35 people signed up for the "How It Ends" event, which is where people gather in June in Washington, DC.

Ah, neato! I would think they would have still kicked you out though?

  • Well, the barracks was pre-organised.

We were stationed at a public location for our event, so we couldn't be kicked out, really. Although they prob. had permission for there too.

That 35 people sign up idea is cool, but also kinda difficult with our location, on the water. Boats could see us, but not a lot of people could actually walk up to us.

  • Ah, got it. Our park was public too, but apparently the US is a lot stricter on those things or something?

Oh, it was for people that were doing The Rescue. Well, also it could be the fact that you guys are sorta far away from DC. =D
