yeah, more so egg shell. there is the chance you can get a rotten egg, but usually if you eat your eggs before the expirey date your fine. PLUS you can tell if an egg is fresh if it sinks in water :)

I usually crack all eggs into ramekins if I am making Eggs benny or something where I want to get them into the pan or water at the Same Time (or close to it) Just to makes it easier to time the "Doneness"....Cheers!
