  • u had a mistake in there´s someone calling for u!

is : alguien te esta llamando

  • "ALGUIEN LLAMANDO PARA TI" learn Spanish, then do you´re reading. Pathetic. And 89 idiots (so far) "Like this shit"

  • @MexicoenMoto You're right! The only bigger idiots would be those who can already speak the language and spend thier time looking at videos for beginners. Those people should put out thier own video if they can do better, don't you think?

  • i really wanna get to learn this language. i can understand a bit but it's hard to speak on myself. does anyone know a good program FOR FREE? :/

  • No se dice: hay alguien llamando para ti.

Se dice: Alguien te esta llamando.

  • There is someone calling for you. is incorrect the way she says. (hay alguien llamando para tí) Thats incorrect.

the correct way is: Alguien te está llamando. or "Hay alguien que te está llamando"

Can i call another country from here? The correct way is. ¿Puedo llamar a otro país desde aquí?

  • It's funny that nobody can pronounce the spanish "ll" (double L). Most people pronounce it like the spanish "y". So instead of saying " me gustaría llamar..." they say "me gustaría yamar" lol

Even a lot of native speakers fail to pronounce this "letter". It's the same sound as the italian "gl" as in "gli telefono" (I call him).

  • @7AlexFord

Akshually~~ lots of people don´t use lleísmo (The gl sound in Italian) nowdays... Most use yeísmo(the Y/ZH/J sound, depending on the place), even in Spain. Although in the Philippines, almost all loan words from Spanish in Filipino that contain Ll retain the lleísmo pronunciation especially with surnames like calle, for example, pronounced and spelled as ¨kalye¨

  • JAJAJAJAJAJAJ siiii hermano argentino

  • Jaajajaa A mi Me deciasss? =P

    Bien Dicho = Well said

Saludos desde Chile= Greetings from Chile

  • the google translator rarely translates accurately or even correctly whole sentences, unless they're extremely simple

  • Gracias my teacher :)

  • you sound stupid

  • its hard to say jehe...

  • It doesnt matter which accent you learn!! if u learn Spain Spanish, or Mexican Spanish, etc, it's the same!! we will understand u!! The problem here is everybody seems to think the're right! nobody's right! the fact is that even in Spain there are totally diff. accents, the same in Mexico, Argentina and all the hispanics countries, actually.. in every single country! So good luck to all those who are learning spanish! :D

  • bien dicho.

pero igual, tienes q considerar que a una persona que habla ingles le cuesta muchiiiisimo aprender a hablar español, por la cantidad de sonidos fonéticos que tiene.. y yo creo que escuchando un millón de acentos, les queda la cagada jajaj

lo mejor es aprender un español neutral, como el que enseña esta mina, aunque aveces tiene unos pequeños errores pero bueno.. nada es perfecto =) jajaj

    saludos desde chile ;)

  • OK girlfriend, the setence says Donde sesta la cabina DE TELEFONO mas cercana, and you clearly have ommited DE TELEFONO alotogether. Now either you don't know the difference because this isn't your native language, or CABINA already means TELEPHONE BOOTH. Whch is it?

  • gracis amiga

  • aprende a traducir, en vez de una vasca deberian poner a alguien que se haya criado con el español, y no con otro idioma

  • pero no os fieis de esta que no tiene ni idea de español!!!!!!!!!!!!! pronuncia FATAL la r

  • un what part of the spanish world you sat gustaria instead if quiero?? i was a little bit confused, couse i would say qiero habla con el jefe

  • When you say "quiero hablar con el jefe", it means "I want to speak to the manager" (an imperative form), but if you say "me gustaría hablar con el jefe" it is "I'd like to speak to the manager" (a polite form).

  • not so much, I could say the same about English. There is standard set of language rules that render 98% intelligibility between all Latin American dialects. Everything is pronounced EXACTLY the way it's written unlike in English where you pretty much have to memorize every single word with a few rules to follow and millions of exceptions. Don't get me started on American slang, idioms, and the awfully confusing things you do to abbreviate words.

  • TOP MARKS

  • I`m an english teacher, here in mexico and this video is bad, I think these expressions are not useful, if you want to come here, probably the cops kill you after you say that fucking phrases.

Come on, in Mexico and Spain these phrases, my little brother learns when he was 1 month

    But try again, surprise me

  • Her Spanish doesn't sound natural. I agree with lulailu. But she's hot!!!

  • She sounds good to me mate./

  • hola, soy la jefa only works if your a woman

  • me gusta mucho.

la pronunciacion muy linda y despacio.

  • Argh. Its helpful. Any free help is good. If it gets people to a level where they can converse in Spanish, provided it is understandable (which even when wrong it usually is), then you can learn the correct versions for where you are living or traveling USING your Spanish. As in learning Spanish in spanish. Dont be so f`in harsh lulailu =) I reckon its great she has put the videos out. Its free, its on YouTube, if you feel it needs improvement there is nothing stopping you releasing your own!

  • lulailu, tenias que ser de Argentina!

  • This is so useful. I can read and write and even speak Spanish quite well, but when it comes to understanding it when spoken, I struggle. This helps tremendously.

  • ya im writing this down cause i have a mexican boyfriend any half the time i dont understand what hes sayin lol now i do!!!!

  • hahaha simon that happend 2 me once

  • this is as boring as sitting in a chick flick movie with your girlfriend

  • Shit, it gets harder than I thought!

  • dats why its better to start off small

  • haha your not the only one thats confused bro.. all spanish people seem to think that their way of speaking is the best, but it all comes down towhere you actuly is going to use the spanish.. in latinamerica or in spain.. i just came to barcelona in order to learn, and there is diferences here... but i think its good withs this video, she should put more effort in things instead of prhases in my opinion. because if you know the name of things you will get a hint of whats its all about.

  • Are you really teaching us Spanish from Spain or Spanish of Latin America (like Mexico)

We need Latino Spanish --not Spain spanish!

  • she speaks pretty much closer to American Spanish than Spain Spanish. And her accent is clearly from Latin Ame. spanish

  • shes teaching spainish of latin america, im pretty sure. but just to make sure u should ask a latino that really knows it.

  • In this video she speaks latino, but some phrases are wrong: "Puedo llamar otro país desde aquí?" is wrong, the correct is "Puedo llamar a otro país desde aquí?".

"Hay alguien llamando para ti", that doesn't have any sense! It is "Hay alguien llamándote".

    I know it because I'm argentinian ;)

  • Argentinians speak their own Spanish. I studied abroad in Argntina for a semester.

  • But I answered in the most common spanish, not in Argentinian spanish. You should know that in Argentina we say "Puedo llamar a otro país desde acá?", and "Tenés una llamada". I'm Argentinian but I know the differences between my spanish and latinamerican or classic spanish.

  • haha, im spanish from SPAIN, and this video sucks!!! it funny to see how people try to learn my languaje, i used to see some videos to improve my english, and i feel really stupid wright now!!

Spanish from South America is not real ir pure Spanish, they change so many words and they speak like singing, i think that would be easier for u to learn spanish from Spain, or if u have time and money go to Spain to spend your holidays, will be fun!! haha

  • LATIN american spanish is far more useful seeing as how more people speak it. To me, Iberian spanish is for the most part almost unintelligible, not just a dialect, but an entirely different language. This so called expert doesn't seem to know a couple of things though. For example most of these phrases are contextually useless because a lot of them would require you to understand the person's response or engage in a prolonged conversation. As for your English, not bad, keep working on it.

  • You think you are so clever? For people like myself , learning the language from a non speaking Spanish country, videos like this is really helpful. So don,t knock it Einstein./

  • I can see that you are stupid, you can,t spell RIGHT "not WRIGHT"

  • This coming from the guy who doesn't know how to use apostrophes? I understand that you must find this useful, but if you want some basic phrases to get by in a Spanish speaking region, these aren't the ones you need. But if you're seriously committed to learning Spanish, then this is a somewhat good start. I would make friends with a native speaker if I were you though, this woman's Spanish is at times a bit awkward. Also, I dare you to find any grammar or spelling errors in MY comments.

  • Don't you mean: "Is this coming from the guy...?" Statements don't require question marks. Also after "though" you need a period or a semicolon. Otherwise it's a run-on sentence. Are grammar errors the same as grammatical errors? LOL

  • sarcastic question recognition fail.

    grammar vs. grammatical - touchée.

  • mmm me gusta tu nombre :]

  • thx for all the words

  • Esta bien el bideo jajaja bueno bieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • There's somebody calling for you. "Hay alguien llamandote" and not how she says , that will be "There's somebody calling to you" and doesnt make sense

  • 没什么,我个人认为还可以。因为世间之事本来就无十全十美的嘛,对不?

  • ola la quapa muchos besossssssssssssss

  • 你们都去死吧!

    光会找错有啥能耐?有本事自己也教哇?

  • what?

  • Nada. Solo pienso que hay nada perfecta en el mundo, y como una persona que no sabe mucho de espanol, creo que esta un bueno video.

  • hey tu español es muy bueno!! keep it up!!

  • Gracias amigo para tu halago.

Estas tambien aprendiendo espanol o eres de un pais hispanico?

  • yo soy de un pais hispano si quieres aprender español yo te puedo enseañar. I know english too!

  • Dejate de joder, es un desastre.

  • what? why is she a disaster?

  • ok, seriously. All of you need to learn when to use "ser" and when to use "estar". ser- to be, connotates a state of permanence, for example, I am a man. "am" in this context would be a permanent state of being so you would use "soy" - "(I) am". "Soy un hombre" or "Yo soy un hombre" would be acceptable, pronouns like "Yo" are often left out since the word "soy" - "(I) am" can only go with "Yo" - "I". for a temporary state of being you use "estoy" - "(I) am". "Yo estoy feliz" - "I am happy".

  • y a mi que me andas dando classes?

  • You can also say: ME GUSTARIA LLAMAR A ALGUEN or ME GUSTARIA MAMAR A ALGUEN (I would like to call some body)

  • it is not puedo llamar otro pais desde aqui?

is puedo llamar a otro pais desde aqui or aca!!

    please girl!!!

    learn spanish!!!

  • stoy de akuerdo con "summergreen7"...tu llamas maria o llamas a maria? haber si aprendemos...ad+, ya me canso de decir k haber si aprendes a pronunciar las "c" de una puta vez...k no es tan complicado!!!

  • ¡Tu video me dio muchisima hueva! ¿Como se tradiciría al Ingles?

  • hola,como estas?estoy fatal(means tired)

  • Hola Me Te llamma Aaliyah e tu

  • Hay Hay Hay senorita como te illmos

  • sta tia no tiene ni zorra de español...

hay alguien llamando para ti?? por dios aprende antes de intentar enseñar, petarda...

  • why does it sound like shes trying to combine hebrew with spanish when she says "JEFA"!!

  • jajajajaja good one

  • in Spain J's are pronounce as a mix of the "h" sound in English as well as a guttural rolling sound similar to that of a Spanish "r"

  • then the correct title of this video should have been "How to Speak Spain Spanish" because in the US no one uses Spain spanish unless they are from there. We use Latin American spanish so anyone who listens to her would be incorrectly speaking for the most part.

  • well, no. here she's actually trying very hard to speak with a Latin American accent. She's doing a mostly good job. However it's obvious Spanish isn't her native language. If I had to guess she studied in Spain and that's the way she learned Spanish, however for the sake of Americans she is speaking in Latin American Spanish.

  • "Me gustaría llamar a alguien"

There is a better way to say it:

..."Me gustaría hacer una llamada".Or "Me gustaría usar el teléfono"

    "Hay alguien llamando para ti"

Nooooooooooooooo! That's sounds absurd in Spanish. It's incomprehensible. Oh, My God, I can believe how she kicks Spanish language. We say "Preguntan por ti" or "Tienes una llamada" or "Hay una llamada para ti" .

Please, learn Spanish before teaching it.

  • According with other users, the spanish is one of the most difficult languages to speak and it's true. This video it's good for a few tips but is far to expert level, 'cause have problems with translations or grammar.

  • Hey ppl! See my videos.. the Best selected Spanish music :)))

  • her name is meat~shit~sue~it~Cheverria

  • si

por supuesto ella es buena con el español

pero independientemente de si es española, latina o lo que sea, es buena...

igual el español no es tan dificil

    jajaja

    :D

  • Jajajajaja, eso lo dices porque tú lo has ido aprendiendo desde que naciste, pero ¿qué podemos decir de otras personas que tienen que aprenderse nuestras mil y una conjugaciones o las variaciones gramáticas? ¿Fácil?

  • :D wow.i had no idea there woud be soooo much fights over 1 spanish learning vid....what has the world become!!??Dx

  • "Hay alguien llamando para ti"? no,no,no. Say that and you'll look retarded. "Te hablan por telefono" is waaay better.

"Hello, i am the manager" is not "soy la jefa" Manager means Gerente, no jefe, there fore it would be "Hola soy el gerente".

"Puedo llamar otro pais dese aquì?" is also wrong, you need to add an A. "Puedo llamar *a* otro pais desde aquì?" its correct.

    hope it helps

  • 1:01

    XDDDDDD

    "hola" re de bebe

    POR FAVOR PONGAN ESE MINUTO!

  • If you want to learn Spanish, I can help you.

    h-u-a-r-a-c-i-n-o-@-h-o-t-m-a-i-l-.-c-o-m (without lines)

  • Ella pronuncia ingles y castellano perfectamente y sin acento.

  • can anyone camas syva? (speak french) i can only say that but dont even no how to spell it(lol)!

  • Puedo llamar A otro país desde aqui.

  • hoollla hooola me gustaria llamar a alguien everyone knows what hola is.

  • it was easy

  • I have one question. If I understood corretly she should be pronouncing Spanish from Spain, right?

I have recently moved to Spain where I am taking classes and the teacher is very strict about right pronunciation like syllibles c and z ( I know it depends on the wovel which is next to follow) but for ce,ci and za,ze,zi,zu,zo should be pronounce like english TH.

  • yeah I know what you mean by the accent (TH)but this chick in the video doesn't really has the spanish accent from spain (lol) it sounds more like the latino one.

  • she's NOT spanish, she has a latino accent

  • "Suramericana" not Sudamericana (At least in Spanish) jeje

  • Amen calen23.

  • i might be able to teach you (unno acikae aprendido usted).

  • No, but she speaks Spanish with a Latin accent, the fact that not differentiate the c of the z does not mean that this bad in the South American countries is not a distinction between the c y z.
