At 13 I was dragged along to a Matt Redman gig really couldn't be bothered. Then he played this song it was the first time I heard it, and as the chorus started the lyrics spoke so much truth to me I just started crying and crying and crying and couldn't stop but in a way it was so awesome, I was really touched by the spirit.
This song is so powerful and melodic. Do you know those shivers you get when you think something is awesome? I get them when he sings "I will fear no evil" and because of God, i will not fear no evil, but live my life in the glory of God. Ive been through some ruff times, but listening to songs like this just get me singing his praises, and i forget my troubles, and just breathe out my sorrow. Let him bless you all!

How is it that there was a big bang that came out of nowhere and put the world in the perfect place for humans to live. And how did humans get here in the first place? There are not going to be some random cells that randomly come together to form bodys with all the same functions that work perfectly. I beleive in chance like flipping a coin but with out an intelligent maker there is NO way the whole world could be here now. Praise the lord!
@Briicheer4life Well look at it this way. The evidence is overwhelming enough that in 1951, the Catholic Church officially pronounced the big bang model to be in accordance with the Bible. So don't out rule it. Maybe God Started the Big Bang. Justs make sense to me. The universe was smaller then a pore on your skin, and it expanded with extreme heat! Its really neat if you ever study it. I'm a believer in God and I don't doubt the Big Bang theory at all =)

So the big bang theory really does fall along with the Bible and the Lord. Because how could it really happen without him really? I find some of it hard to have actually happened with all the fossils and what not science has found. But all I know is that God is real and I don't care how the earth was made. We are here on earth and thats a fact and God shows his love for us everyday as long as we keep our faith in him. Just gotta keep looking forward and towards God. I'm a Recovering Agnostic btw =)

Whenever I feel anxious or afraid I sing, "And I will fear no evil for my God is with me. And if my God is with me, whom then shall I fear? Whom then shall I fear?" It helps me calm down and realize that there is never anything to be afraid of. Nothing can hurt me as long as I place my trust in God. He will never allow anything to happen to me that I can't handle and every bad thing will only make me stronger. Thanks for singing this Matt Redman.

My family did not see each other for a long time but over the summer months of this yr . one of my cousins came over for a few days . and I got to see his one sister that I got to see when she was just a babe in arms . and when we saw her she was scared of us . and now when she sees us my family all gets a big hug from this little one. so the Lord does not let go of us.

i no. it just breaks my heart to see all these people that claim christ but they act totally different for the world. im adopted, and was abused by my biological dad as a little kid. and i have been having relly bad issues with depression recently. and the day i heard this song, i had been thinking about suicide all day long and then i heard this song and gave my heart completely to god.. I've recently gone through a very tough period of my life.My grandad died and my mum was on her deathbed (thankfully recovering but still very ill) and it felt like God wasn't there.I felt alone, spiritually dead.I rebelled a bit.Then I listened to this song and I realised - God was with me, all the time.He never lets go,even if you cant always feel him.Goosebumps and tears every time I listen to it.I feel God again.

this song saved my life. i'm 13 and have been going to a 2 week summer camp in my town since i was 5. other years i have just gone to mess about or have something to do. some of the leaders have made a worship band especially for the camp and i alwayd love singing along. worship has always been the only bit i have enjoyed. this year they sang this song for the first time. and as i was singing i started crying. it was really strange but from that day i havent looked back. i love the new me.
