Never bought rock band 3, sorry if its a stupid question.

@lilv593 If you select "All Instruments Mode" it lets you pick the Keys part when using a Guitar. There is also a goal you can complete in RB3 that lets you pick the keys part without having to use All Instruments Mode

@lilv593 The creators made it to where you can play keys on guitar, but you can also play guitar on keys.
